Hi buds, just got home and I was short a chicken when I went to tuck them in....

And a predator got my EE, Maya. I don't know how she got outside the run. I hope I didn't miss her on a head count, but she was outside the run, dead, in a big pile of feathers. I feel terrible (although she was NOT one of my favorite chickens, and did not ever seem like she liked me much. But still, she was my chicken, and she laid a very pretty green egg, and she did not deserve to die like that.)

That's the first time I ever lost a chicken to a predator. I'm gonna have DH do a good perimeter walk in the AM and shore up any holes. I have a terrible feeling I somehow missed her on a head count, thugh...poor baby.

Sorry PBM. It always sucks to lose one.

That stinks! I'm glad it wasn't one of your snugglers but it is awful to loose any of them.
I don't think you missed her at head count though, if one gets left out they usually go nuts trying to get with the other ones to roost.

I ordered 50 lighters and got 100. I will have fire until I die.

OMG in my alternate reality I would get some lame power like every time I try to go anywhere a traffic jam would form around me. Oh the entire rest of the HWY would be completely clear though.
