Stacey that pup face is just too cute!

@Redhead Rae sorry, I miss a lot of tags and was catching up reading here :(
It’s not a cross, it’s full pigeon! I have a pair that hatched 2 babies (one died at 5 days old) and I just bought 5 more adults this past Saturday. They are called Oriental Frills or Satinettes.

This is the young one, hatched Dec 2nd

4 of the new 5, kept them inside overnight, it was dark when we got home

I figured they were full pigeon. :) Never heard of a chicken/pigeon hybrid. Though I may have some Cornish/Guinea hybrids if I tried hatching guinea eggs. My Dark Cornish cock bird has been spotted mounting the guineas. :lau

I just saw the feathered feet and decided to make a bit of a joke. :)

There was so many gorgeous birds in that video. I guess I expected the people to be more like us all here. But it makes sense it'd be edited to look as outlandish as possible. Though, while we like our birds to be pretty none of us show chickens so maybe that's a different type of person.
I'm involved with show people. Honestly, they've all been saner so far than the average backyarder.

Kept them inside over night? Do you release them outside, or do you have an outside cage? I'm confused.

Good morning! Everyone is up and out, no disasters and iv'e already got a Rene egg...pretty good! :)
@apryl29 Those can't be drug pockets, my pills are huge!:lau
hahahahahah!

I'm not surprised. They probably have a bit more socialization that some of us.

It's thundering up a storm here, literally... Up northeast of here someone said they're getting hail. Welcome to Ohio... tomorrow we're info a big temp drop 50's right now, but heading down low 30's tomorrow and snow... Nunny will probably get a lot more up where she is, not sure about Suzi.

Darling puppy. I used to show Cockers back in the day. I was at the benched International Kennel Club show in Chicago 1959. Which just so happened to be the first show for Vizsla after AKC recognition. The dog next to mine was Zhomi Von Selle.

The people had too long a bench chain on him and he managed to get off the bench and be stuck there . I had some Mackinac Island fudge with me(sold at show) and broke off a little piece to temp Zhomi. It worked and he was back on the bench.

When I turned around though my Cocker was eating my fudge and drooling all over the box. I got it away from him and thought I'd dump it later. I forgot. Took it home and my family was going through it before I remembered the drool. I was only a little girl so I kept my mouth shut. No one experienced any bad effects from eating it. All was well.

I knew you knew! But I wasn't sure if you thought they were actually cochins OR pigeons.

Cornish/Guinea hybrids sounds like a must-try experiment!!!

It was dark by the time we got home, so I set them up inside just for overnight, and moved them to their quarantine cage outside the next day.
