Thanks on the derps, everybody is wet and dirty today not much I can do about that can't keep them from scratching in the murk and mire.

This was the scientific reason I was given if anybody is into the nerdy aspects of squished combs.

A comb like that makes me think that she is hetero for rose comb.

Not a big issue though, since with a good male 1/2 of the chicks will be homozygous.

Ok Squatchers— got a new oddity for you.

She walks like that on purpose it seems. On firm ground not as stumbling as in the video but with shavings on the ground harder to see. Nothing on her feet. No bumbles or injuries. Not bothered when I touch her feet or legs. They are warm....

Thoughts? She’s a ballerina in training? Give her mackerel? Wait and see?

It's kind of adorable but I'm worried with the luck I've had.

Looks neurological or pain related. The way she squats back on her hocks when she isn't moving seems to indicate pain or trying to improve her balance. I would give those foot feathers a good once over.

Oh........I almost forgot the real tatering me off part of the vet visit.....

Vet: So how is potty training going?
Me: Pretty well actually.
Vet: So does she have any accidents?
Me: Yes, but only if I am to slow getting the door open.
Vet: Do you scold her for the accident?
Me: No, Why would I scold her for me being to slow?
Vet: She NEEDS scolded for peeing in the house.
Me: NO she does not. She is asking but I am sometimes to slow getting the door.
Vet: Well she is never going to learn if you don't scold her.
Me: I refuse to scold her because I didn't get there in time.

Yeah.....time for a new vet.

Scolding for potty mistakes can never help! I potty train my birds with special treats for poop in the Right Place, even by accident! Dylan poops in the toilet every morning. She climbs up on a box with paper and poops on the paper in the box. It took 2 years of rewards for poop in the box!

Almost half way there. This week, I officially reached the stage where I am as "deep" as I am "wide". Turning sideways to get past things isn't working so well anymore.

I totally agree. I have a big bag of gourmet dog cookies that are tiny. Potty outside gets a cookie. Potty inside no cookie.
Tiny Tilly asks for out then comes in and sits for her treat. She had that figured out fast.

No way I will scold a 12 week old baby for me being slow.

I love that Parrots are potty trainable. Takes consistently rewarding and they get it. I knew someone who had a parrot that would ask for out of her cage then head for her potty place. It was amazing to see.
