Official Squatch Watchers

I’ve been boiling for 35 minutes then drain and let sit with the lid for ten minutes. I was wondering if there is a better way
When I cook something like jasmine rice I boil the water then put the rice in, remove it from the Heat and cover it with a lid and then let it sit to absorb the water, so there's nothing to drain. I think it's a one-to-one ratio. So one cup of rice and one cup of water and when you're done you'll end up with two cups of rice.

We are forecast to be near 60 this weekend. :plbb
We're supposed to be mid 50s! It's going to feel like 90s after this! But we are supposed to have rain so it's still going to be crappy. Hoping I can Get the run fixed.

Klaus update. I went over there this morning and had the Monistat stuff ready and she is fine now. Her crop is normal size and she had food in it and it felt grainy like I was holding a sock filled with grit. So at this point I'm going to leave her for this morning and tonight when I have more time I will get her some of the Monistat. And it's so stupid because I know it was her because she's the only one with a blue comb and I'm certain her crop had been squishy because I sat there for several minutes fondling it thinking what the heck am I supposed to do about this. So apparently I'm a chicken fondler too and this time that's what the Cure was.
