Official Squatch Watchers

Sounds like a busy day! I'm already at work but always have BYC up on my computer. God forbid I should miss an hour because I will have 10 pages to catch up on. And yes....my day is complete now that I have officialy been face slapped by Smuv
Same here. It's update week and I'm spending my 'free time' popping in and listening to last night's late night shows, but when I'm at work I always have a couple different tabs open to keep me from going crazy.

Anyone but Smuv wanna tell me what I can do with these, please. View attachment 1188167

do you like mushrooms and spinach?
Lol...you are suppose to be sleeping and I know you aren't a fan of these red things.

Yes Bob.

You're going to grumble a little here, but trust is the word of the day. Use this recipe but also have a cup or so of fresh spinach (chopped) and a few fresh basil leaves. When you add the pasta to the sauce, add the spinach and basil as well. I like to chiffonade the basil. Also for a little toasty crunch, toast up a couple tablespoons of pine nuts and add them with the spinach and basil.

Looks doable.
I'm actually making a baked ziti with meatballs today and guess what it calls for both stinky cheese and ricotta cheese :sick. I can choke them down if cooked/mixed in but not if they are added on top where I have to smell it before I take a bite.

eta. Another first for me...never made something like this before.
Didn't grow up eating stews, soups or much pasta type dishes.

Well, I just got my morning workout. Moving a ton of horse and chicken feed around.

My parents are now officially satellite dealers for New Country Organics feed!

It's really funny how they got started. My mom was talking about giving her horse poop to my chickens to scratch around in and grow bugs for them. I told her I didn't want that to happen unless they went on organic feed. I even offered to pay the price difference on the feed since it would be feeding my chickens as well. She was hesitant at first but then decided to try it out. She started looking into the quality of the feed and she sees that the first ingredient in the "better quality" feed she bought was wheat middlings and other byproducts a close second. The NCO feed had whole grains and alfalfa meal as their top 4 ingredients. She is actually now spending about 1/3rd less on feed than she was before because she is able to feed them less and not have them lose weight so I don't have to pay any for their poop! And now my parents are dealers and she is selling me the chicken feed at their cost. SCORE!
