It does say to repeat in 18 days. I know it doesn't list ingredients on the website...I'll have to see if they are listed on the bottle. I'm going to use it this weekend. Like I said , I completely trust the lady that recommended it. She has used it for years and has had chickens for years. Her chickens are healthy and gorgeous.

Interesting. I'd be interested in hearing your experience w/ it.

That's my concern too. Why did it go from 18 days to 24 hour? Was it b/c they changed the active ingredient? 24 hours sounds wayyyy too short for a withholding period.

He's about the age where night terrors become a problem. Hopefully whatever it is, it doesn't happen again.

Your breeder... how long does she withhold eggs?

Can you try the baking soda thing first before you go w/ poison?

Sorry about Jelly Bean. So strange. Is everyone else doing ok?
Yay for the eggs.
Most egg withdrawl numbers are two weeks as default for medicines that are not approved for chickens. Part of the approval process is to figure out how long the withdrawl time really is.

I spent some time hanging with the birds. Lots of yard clean up to do so I did some while followed by the big group.

My "giant" red cochin. She is just wrong, wrong, wrong! She was supposed to be a giant buff cochin.

You can see my tiny black bantam and my "giant" red together lol. Not really so giant at all. She is a friendly thing though.
Yes that pink feed dish is rather empty. They have dry feed in the coop. Oh and I broke the lip off the water dish removing ice the other day.

How many chickens will you have after picking up the D'uccles?
I rarely count chickens. I have 6 SS, 10 Buff Laced polish, 6 CL + 2 young CL, 7 adult Tolbunts, maybe 18 young Tolbunts, 2 silkies, a few Cochin chicks, a few feather footed bantam chicks and 6 D'uccle chicks. Whatever that adds up to .

:frowGood morning and holy cow!

I switched from Zyrtec to zyzal allergy meds last night...
Wow!
Sooooooo many dreams!
*but none of them scary thank God.

Here were the main topics:
Lived in a different house, very tiny, but still managed to have a ton of house guests visiting...
My sister’s husband kept asking if I wanted my chickens IN or OUT? ...since they kept coming to the back door and singing the egg song...
I had a weird car...
A really sweet friend of mine from Virginia lived right down the hill from me and we could wave to each other from our back porches, I kept asking if she wanted to come over but she was busy making stock ...
Had a new neighbor move in next door, who got a brand new chicken coop - complete with a few “normal” chickens and threw herself a housewarming party, where most of her guests brought chickens as housewarming gifts to fill her new coop...
Other than the fact that her coop was right next to my backdoor, I was oddly happy to meet her and all the many chickens and her chicken friends who comically had characteristics of other animals(such as one had a chimplike-owl-face and one was definitely a puffin)...
People were just walking around the yard eating hors d’oeuvres and holding their winesglasses and their chickens like it was nbd...
When nighttime came I catered a party for my daughter’s work which was in a ballroom and had a great band...:clap

There’s more, but I’m exhausted and need to drink some coffee! :th

It had to be the medicine.
I never dream like that.
Dang!

On the allergy front- when I woke up my eyes aren’t itchy! :celebrate

I want to have a chicken house warming party! That sounds great!

Allergy meds do weird things. Benadryl will do that to me. Try taking it in the morning and see if you don't dream like that. Unless you want to. LOL Maybe go back to the chicken party.

I oddly had a weird dream myself. Nowhere near as fantastic as a chicken party with animal looking human guests.

My kids all suffered with night terrors from about 18 months to 3 yrs of age.
I remember my kids having them, but no details. My older one watched a lot of Scooby doo and would wake up having nightmares.. then we found out there was a branch from the overgrown - tree sized bush outside her window that was scraping on the house. After I cut that back she stopped.

Those are some nice birds! Sounds like you got a mini like Chicky did.

That's a crazy dream... not sure if you'd say the meds are working or not. lol At least your eyes aren't itchy. I agree w/ the idea of taking them earlier, unless you like those kind of dreams.
