Official Squatch Watchers

Unfortunately here we give our self evaluations to our managers, then they go over them w/ HR and the director and then they come back after they've all discussed them together and then my boss gives me my evaluation. I worded everything so it's that I'm waiting for her to meet any of my goals. So if they aren't met next year it's b/c of her. They always have to find something that you can improve upon. Mine is always communication & not overstepping my job's boundaries b/c my boss doesn't do her job and I end up doing stuff that she should be doing. Since my boss either forgets about stuff, or just never does it people come directly to me to fix things instead of going through here. She does this thing where even though she knows I know the solution, she'll send my co-worker out to do something and he usually ends up calling me for help, or I get sent anyway. It's fun like that here.
I have complete job security. Nothing short of murder or death would get them to replace me. I've single handedly set up every single computer, server & laptop in the entire system. I'm the only person who knows how to do a bunch of things. If I died they'd be ok for a little while, but there's only one other person who could help them and he's the guy who taught me most of what I know. I just decided to take off all of spring break with my kids... I need some times away from here. It's a month away, but I might be able to make it. I have a bunch of scrapbooking and stuff I want to work on. I'll order our couch to come that week too. I can do a big clean up of the apartment & maybe even clean out the chicken coop if it's finally nice out. Don't tell anyone. I don't want anyone asking me to do carp for them.
The time off will be good!

Ethel the SS has decided for some strange reason to wedge her skinny butt behind Tucks to lay her daily ping pong ball.
The only reason I know is due to the noises coming from the coop were "different" to say the very least.
The only part of Ethel I can see is her sideshow Bob looking comb.
There are other nests, she's just being a pest.:)

Is that the favorite nest? Mine do that b/c one cannot simply wait her turn, she needs in there NOW! When Loki took over the favorite nest to hatch her eggs the other birds would climb over her and lay their eggs while she grumbled at them, then she'd steal their eggs. She'd give them a look like Get outta here! and they'd look at her like What is wrong with you?!

That is the thing, it isnt! Or at least it wasn't, things may have changed with the fresh nest filler.
I thought I put too much hay in that one but maybe not?
Its just tandem screeching out there, absolutely spine chilling if you didn't know what it was.:gig

Hi Stacey.....I was actually going to ask about the hot potato method. When I googled spur removal that was the first video that popped up. I wonder if it works best when you add butter and sour cream. :lau
:gigDon’t forget the chives! Chickens LOVE chives.

You'd think they'd stop eventually though! There is technically room for them both, in fact if Ethel was a nice girl she could give Tucks a little more space but she isn't.
I doubt you could wedge a dime between them, she chose the absolute most annoying spot possible just because she could.:th
They're yelling back and forth YOU get out! No! I was here first. It's my turn! and then MOOOOMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!! Make her leave!

That would put you needing to start things 2 weeks sooner than me.

I am hoping for a good gardening season. :fl
Me too, I am going to make my garden fence higher, and build a trellis over the garden gate. Hoping to keep deer out!
