Hi guys. Spent all day in bed dozing. I’m feeling somewhat better now (at least I was able to eat broth and a popsicle before going to bed). I’m not feeling great, but at least I can sit up for a while and go to the bathroom without shaking like a leaf. I think my fever broke about an hour ago. It was 99.5-100.1 all day yesterday.

I found those on accident. A video of "how long can you stand to watch" clips came up and they were part of it.

I recently went through a slideshow of gruesome injuries. I mean missing limbs and bones sticking out where they shouldn't. All in can think when I see those is "how did that happen?"

Yeah... I can't do the broken bones thing. Or injuries.. surgeries are interesting. My daughter brought up a pimple popper video of this guy who had a huge growth on the back of his neck.. We expected it to be a cyst or something, but it was a huge tumor. We didn't watch it through.

I can’t handle certain things! There is a video on Dr Pimple Popper of her husband removing a fingernail.
Can’t do it! Watched it once, mostly through my fingers. I guess my fascination wins out over my gross factor.

I can't do finger nail stuff either. Creeps me out.

Went to TSC to get feed last night & they had baby ducks!!!! All the chicks were gone already.

The tiny human's xray came back & they want her to do a mini cleanse this weekend... she'll be at her dad's so that'll be fun for them. She's also to avoid sugar for the next 2 weeks so she's going to starve to death.

Still cold, still snowing.. I did see the weather guy claimed it was going to be warm. I'm waiting for the nights to be above freezing. Someday....

My work is changing how they do employee evaluations. We have to write down 5 things we did last year and 5 goals for next year. 5 seems like too many, but how do you say "I didn't accomplish anything last year b/c my boss won't buy anything for me to do my job" & "My goal for this year is for my boss to do her job and buy me stuff so I can do my job." without getting fired? If I'm pushing 80 & still working, someone PLEASE put me in a home b/c I'm not safe to be on my own.

edited b/c I realized weather.com gave me DC's weather, not my own... & now I'm sad b/c it's going to be much colder than I thought it was 5 minutes ago.

@Redhead Rae i hope you CONTINUE to take it easy on yourself today. Please hydrate! I know you know this but I’m SAYING IT ANYWAY, dehydration in pregnancy is dangerous!

@Chickassan , there’s a hot baked potato method of spur removal too, I’ve seen YouTube videos.
I think it sort of steams them off in a couple of minutes.

Good morning! It is cold out there! For a bunch of chickens that were freaked out by no poop and fresh hay I can't pry those goobers out of there now...think they're over it.
@staceyj I've seen that potato method too, it looks like it would be terribly hot. I'd end up hurting myself with a potato.

I said something to her this morning after she brought up some erate stuff (since the state pays for stuff we have to accept bids for our internet provider which is never cheaper than what we have).. and she said Ok, then promptly went and saw that someone else who does circulation related stuff wasn't going to be in today so she drug me out there to help her unpack some delivery bags.. now she's out there screwing around w/ that stuff instead of doing her job. So b/c she wouldn't leave it alone now the director is out there checking stuff in so she'll go do HER job.
