I think my whistling tea kettle is dying, at least the whistle is...sounds like a sad cow.
If that dosen't make you want tea nothing will.

Try taking a qtip to the flap. Either it's not getting a good seal or the hole is getting plugged. Unless you really don't like the pot, then toss it and get a new one.

Poop shoveling day was going to be tomorrow for me b/c it was *supposed* to be warm, but now it's going to rain so it's not going to happen. The sun is a nice surprise, but the whole 16* when I dropped off my kids this morning was a bigger surprise. I cannot wait for it to be above freezing and not rain.

I gave the birds the 2nd dose of wormer last night. The bottle was empty so I think I got everyone. William kept taking his piece of bread and dropping it on the floor before he finally ate it. Olive was asleep and I had to wake her for her piece and then she kept squawking and running around completely not seeing her bread. Then the white puffy kept refusing to even look at it. In their defense, I think my light was blinding them... but I needed them to take the meds and I couldn't get to the coop any earlier. But it's done and that's all that matters. 2 more weeks of tossing eggs and we'll be back to normal. Oddly I haven't noticed anything in their poop when I'm scooping. Hopefully that means they weren't super infested.
Klaus seemed good last night. She's been sleeping away from everyone else, but her feathers are coming in & I don't see where they're pecking her anymore. Her crop felt good last night too. I'm hoping that means she's on the upswing of whatever issues she was having.
