Official Squatch Watchers

That happened to me last night but DH can fall asleep like a narcoleptic.
I was getting the grumble AND the stink eye and finally had to turn off the light and lie there staring at the ceiling while he snored on my left and the dog snored on my right.

I have a friend who cleans her house in the middle of the night. The sound of the vacuum is no big deal to her family.
Nunny I love your curtain fabric by the way!
melatonin might help with resetting your internal clock

I'm lost.
You are getting two houses?
We were going to get one big house with an inlaw suite originally. However they said there was no way they were getting something that big (two 16'X76' pieces) back here so we had to settle for a smaller double wide (two 14'X56' pieces) for us and a single wide (14'x56') as the inlaw suite. Honestly, I am kinda happier that I'll have my own house.

Judging by how long it took them to get this house back here with their specialized equipment, I'm not surprised that they couldn't fit in anything bigger.

I was talking to a guy at one of my accounts and he pays $950 per month for health insurance. That's only 1/3 of the monthly cost! And a $10k deductable per person.
$950 a month is more then my house payment!!! Poor guy. Works 2 jobs 7 days a week. Going into his 60s.
That is reprehensible!

Bossy dang clocks! :rant

I am just hoping tonight is not as bad as last night.

I was woke up at 3 am to the sound of puking in the kitchen....I was like what the heck?!?
Hubby was out of bed....ok must be him....wait...he is in the kitchen!?

I got up to find him picking up puppy poopy. :gig and gagging to beat all!

At least he tried to let me sleep instead of waking me to clean it. :lau
Mine just puts a paper towel over it.

I don't know if it even was her tummy yet.
It could have been the neighbors cats triggering my motion light on the coop. It shines directly in my bedroom window.

I have seen 3 different cats roaming in my yard.
Don't you have coyotes?

Don't you have coyotes?

Me? No! Heavens no!

I am about 2 miles from the edge of town in any given direction. I don't think the city will let them come this far in.

Coons, owls, fox and hawks yup we have all of those.
I do hear of coyote on the west end of town from time to time. The East, North and South are all full of shopping centers and highways.

Yolo county and the City or Woodland used to employ a trapper. We do not have coyotes, squirrels or even raccoons here

The coon population seems to be lower this past year here. I wonder if the city is trapping them.......

There was an outbreak of skunk rabies maybe 2 years ago. Maybe the trapping of them thinned the coons out too.

Several years ago I had an accidental rooster.....
I regimes him along with a couple pullets to a friend of hubby's. I even built a small coop for him. If course they were way out in the country. Coyotes took them out, destroying the coop to do so as well as a killing a yearling bull and injuring another.

They literally chewed through the siding on the coop to get the birds. :(

Such a sad end for those birds. :(

coyotes are very big!

The county has quite a bit of sheep so keeping the coyotes under control is very important
