I'm watching my neighbor trying to build a handicapped ramp in the rain.
His wife is the one that got the flesh eating bacteria in her leg.
They're sending her home but she won't be walking for a long time.
Feel so bad for them, he was about to retire and they were planning to build a house.
I imagine they can't do either now, don't want to know how much blood the hospital is going to try to squeeze from that stone.

That is so sad.

Thanks, I finally got a call about the xray, it was all clear. So that was about useless. Better to know though. My gma had lung cancer so I at least know I'm ok as of right now.

Oh I am such a dork. I kept looking and looking at that picture for a furry bobcat. yes I'm blonde!

If it makes you feel better i didn't get the 'bobcat' reference as an animal.

Wow, that really sucks. Where my dad used to work, one of his co-worker's wife had an aneurysm, they saved her, but it cost so much the ins company tried to drop the entire shop. The owner had to renegotiate the contract. He had to pre-pay tens of thousands of $$ to cover their medical needs. The rates, copays, & deductibles all went up for everyone.

We just got a call that they are shipping both houses tomorrow, which means I need to be at the bank first thing to sign the disbursement paperwork.

That's great! Where are they going to park them until the cement is set?

I was talking to a guy at one of my accounts and he pays $950 per month for health insurance. That's only 1/3 of the monthly cost! And a $10k deductable per person.
$950 a month is more then my house payment!!! Poor guy. Works 2 jobs 7 days a week. Going into his 60s.

That's insane. That sounds a cobra situation. I wonder if he'd be able to find better insurance through the ACA or just going through the insurance company on his own. If that's through his work he's getting screwed.

That is one reason that I work at the University. I pay about 180 a month and there is no deductible. Copays are 20 for Dr., 80 for emergency and 200 for hospital. hospital is waved if you go to emergency first

Jealous.. I'm waiting to see what I'm going to be paying for all these tests. I have $100 copay for the er last fall, plus another $300 in bills that showed up after. Now the copay for er is $150. IDK what my deductible even is, I never meet it b/c I'm rarely sick.

At night is when it messes with me too. The clock says go to bed but my body says it’s still early.

That happened to me last night but DH can fall asleep like a narcoleptic.
I was getting the grumble AND the stink eye and finally had to turn off the light and lie there staring at the ceiling while he snored on my left and the dog snored on my right.

I have a friend who cleans her house in the middle of the night. The sound of the vacuum is no big deal to her family.
Nunny I love your curtain fabric by the way!

I was up every 2 hours.

I wonder if when puppy went out.....every 2 hours....She maybe had a bad tummy.

I will know in a few minutes.

We are to have good weather today but snow tomorrow.

I guess I should get the dog food today instead of waiting.



Oh and we are going to have 80 mph wind tomorrow.
