Official Squatch Watchers

To me chicken math is unexpected chickens, plus or minus. Like I ordered 10 chickens, but of the 11 in the box 9 died. That ended up being -8 in chicken math. Then I went to TSC and bought 6. so then I had 8, so still 2 less than I wanted so I got 4 more from a place in town and added in 2 eggers b/c you had to get a min of 6, and thought 12 would be a good number, but I made the mistake of taking my mom and she told the lady we wanted 4 eggers, so 2 of those ended up being chicken math.. so I had 16.. but then one was killed and Steve turned out to be an unexpected boy so now I have 14 where I originally only wanted 10. Kinda like going to the feed store and coming home with chicks you didn't plan on getting. Or having a chicken magically appear.

I read somewhere (maybe from someone on this post even) that they stuck a bag of frozen peas under their broody. Could be anything though, ziplock baggie of ice, snow if you got it.. just keep changing it out so it stays cold.
I tried that a few months ago b
That was my ding dong that had to sit on frozen stuff! Took two days and i got a really good chance to get all the frost out of the freezer.
:lau Hahahaha.

Here's my chicken math:
We have four chickens. One of them lays small eggs, so she's a negative one. The two ISA's lay well, and large eggs, so that brings me to a positive one. Dove, however, lays erratically(-1), lays in random spots(-1), lays small eggs(-1), and will go broody often(-1). So we're at -3. We want a flock of 9, so we need 12 more chickens.
