Official Squatch Watchers

@apryl29 her vent isn't red but the area above it is......where the Cochin poof is. Her nose is clear
That's how Klaus was too.

If she were egg bound would the area above her vent be swollen and red?
I've not dealt w/ egg bound yet so I'm not sure.

Thank You I am sure they will :love
I tried an english orpington last year... birds are small but still meaty, I kept the hens... well actually I have kept all then hens I have hatched.... ..
There's nothing wrong w/ that. It's easy to justify keeping a bird that also lays eggs.

Thanks Ron, i'm going to be a tablespoon measuring fool until I can get a new set of cups.:)
How do you not have 5 other measuring cups sets? I seriously think I have 2 full sets in the utensil drawer, w an extra 1c, plus 2 or 3 others up in the cupboard.. I think I bought something that came w/ utensils & there was measuring cups in there too, so it's not like I'm actively buying multiple sets. I do have one of those fun pampered chef adjustable measuring cups. And the obligatory pyrex measuring cups... the 4 cup one was a casualty earlier this week when I knocked it off the counter and it shattered.

I would rather sell the girls I don't want than eat them. I've got way to many Dark pullets at the moment. I need to pick through them and see which ones I want to keep.

I want to keep 4 for breeding and 2 for backups with my laying flock.

Ok, the reason I don't have that many cups left is my disaster proneness and hubs taking them to measure stuff that I really don't want them back after.
All mine that are left are plastic, the most complete set look like a Dali painting because DH had the whoole set sitting next to a hot engine.
He didn't get to use them but he sure uglied them up.:rant

I keep saying I am going to sell some. So far I have sold 3 BO when I went to the meaties... The ex-bachelor pad has 7 hens and the orpington roo I hope I can part with... I should move a couple of more hens into there.
