I saw a pile out when the girls were ranging the other day.. I hope they didn't eat them, but I'm not going to look to see if they did or not. I really don't want to know.Ugh... Did you check the inside birds to make sure you're not bringing bugs inside? Odin never dusted either. I've seen William do it, but I think Odin was too busy watching for danger that he never diverted his attention long enough to roll around in the dirt. I only noticed the mites on him b/c they were crawling all over his legs. If Pat is mating w/ your ladies they're surely infested too. At least it's kinda warm so a coop clean out won't be totally horrible. On another note...
I've been randomly doing butt checks for bugs since I had mites and its been all clear. Today I grabbed Pat and checked for snotts then remembered a thread from a while ago about a big roo with a breast blister. So I lift his feathers and check his chest. No breast blister but mites. Check his butt... no mites there. He's so damn big they haven't found his butt!
I don't ever see him dust bathe either. I have a feeling this will be a continual problem with him.
I'm going to guess 8, b/c I think that's the only # that hasn't been taken, but I think you're likely to get 3 or 4 this time.So anybody want to gamble? Just a fun little contest amongst us with a fabulous prize!
Mostly it is just to get a laugh out of an inevitable situation.
Game is out of nine eggs how many roosters am I getting?
First to correctly guess will win their very own fried chicken t-shirt OR tote bag you pick a size on either.
This is just for fun and the prize is fitting. Winner will be called as soon as we determine sexes. https://www.themountain.com/dj-fried-chicken-t-shirt/
That really sucks. At least you're done worrying if you're going to get it. Break out the lysol wipes and wipe down EVERYTHING and don't forget the car too! Make sure you thank the family for bringing a sick kid out to spread disease w/ everyone. There are no survivors. We have all been taken down by the stomach bug.
On the plus side, I feel better after puking.
Hopefully the crying chick is ok.. have you tried nutridench?@21hens-incharge hope they caught him by now!
Oh no Red! That is awful! I hate y’all are having a rough time!
I did something dumb today and feel free to hit me over the head! I bought two Barnevelder chicks today. Momma Dorothy is fine with them and raising them, but they are clueless and confused. I hope tomorrow is better for them. One I don’t have a good feeling about. She sits and cries a lot. Reminds me of a couple of other chicks I had that died early. A little irritated with myself.
They were dark. I didn't see eggs so he could have just picked them up. Just found it funny they were not by his vent were you usually find them.
Their world is so big they didn't get to explore both poles.

Omg! That’s hilarious! I say 3.So anybody want to gamble? Just a fun little contest amongst us with a fabulous prize!

Hi guys. I had a miserable night. Was up every 1-2 hours to puke or use the bathroom. Often both. I’m feeling a bit better now. Haven’t puked in almost 4 hours. Thing 1 is acting normal but had the NASTIEST blowout diaper we’ve seen from him ever this morning. Poor DH. I couldn’t do more than dress the boy after DH had hosed him off in the shower, with the boy crying the whole time. He hates showers, but sometimes they are necessary.

I’m so sorry.
Stay there. Hydrate. Feel better soon.I feel like death warmed over.
Both the D’Uccle girls seem better. Clayton is hanging in there but still very snotty.
Dissolved 400 mg guaifenesin in 1/2 gal water and gave it to them. I’m hoping that helps.
Took 800 mg myself and I’m hitting the couch.
