Official Squatch Watchers

There are no survivors. We have all been taken down by the stomach bug.

On the plus side, I feel better after puking.
The norovirus is terrible like that! It is very easily transmitted to others

@21hens-incharge hope they caught him by now!

Oh no Red! That is awful! I hate y’all are having a rough time!

I did something dumb today and feel free to hit me over the head! I bought two Barnevelder chicks today. Momma Dorothy is fine with them and raising them, but they are clueless and confused. I hope tomorrow is better for them. One I don’t have a good feeling about. She sits and cries a lot. Reminds me of a couple of other chicks I had that died early. A little irritated with myself.
:wee

More babies!

Morning folks :frow

Well chicky I guess I'll go with three.:idunno
Oops. I didn’t see this.
I voted three too.
@Chickassan

I Can’t remember what numbers are left.

I don’t want 7,8,or 9 because I don’t want to wish that on you!!!!!

I’ll just sit it out and watch (and try not to laugh):gig

Hi guys. I had a miserable night. Was up every 1-2 hours to puke or use the bathroom. Often both. I’m feeling a bit better now. Haven’t puked in almost 4 hours. Thing 1 is acting normal but had the NASTIEST blowout diaper we’ve seen from him ever this morning. Poor DH. I couldn’t do more than dress the boy after DH had hosed him off in the shower, with the boy crying the whole time. He hates showers, but sometimes they are necessary.
It is a fast one then! Norovirus goes 1 to 3 days depending on the particular virus.

I had it last Fall and it was fast and brutal. I even took a day off from work which is the first time in many years

@FlyingNunFarm & @Redhead Rae I hope you two get to feeling better. And anyone else down. The pollen here is insane and getting close to the time every year I sick. But hopefully that won’t happen this year.

@apryl29 I did this morning. I am wondering if I should bring her inside or just let her be. It is like Tiny and Diana all over again. Just looks for warmth, sits, cries and oneday dies. I shouldn’t have bought those 2 dumb chicks. One is older and doing fine. Clueless and confused, but doing fine.

No more worries. She’s gone. Kind of a relieve, which must be a sign of getting to be a more “mature” chicken owner.
I hopr all has a good day and hopefully I can check in to read and not get too far behind today. #goals
Now it is time to get a couple more to replace the one lost!

Perfect chicken math!

Thinking about the elderly relative.

Really really really hoping that germ did NOT nail her or anyone else there.
:fl:fl

Oh good gosh!
She might not see 91!
My SIL was there and she seems to have avoided it. The sick little great granddaughter was kept away from great grandma once it was obvious she was sick. We got it because Thing 1 was OBSESSED with trying to drink from the girl’s sippy cups. He got ahold of them once or twice on Friday before she showed symptoms.
