Official Squatch Watchers

Good afternoon! Slept like garbage and it feels like iv'e been kicked by a mule.:barnie
Clayton Crowed!!! Best way to be woken while sick. They are all way less snotty. I am too. But I am so glad he crowed.
Yay Clayton! You know, my grandma's last boy toy was named Clayton lol! You up and crowing yet Nunny?

Interesting fact, hens can get depo provera once a month for prevention of egg production. It'll work until we get the funds necessary for the spay.
That is so good! :D
That’s sad to hear.
I love my new mattress (5 months old already at this point) but we were so worried about it being too squishy that we went way too hard and now I secretly wish we’d gone a little bit softer.
I have been wondering if maybe we got a really good mattress topper it might balance out the difference.
Guess I’ll have to throw that idea out the window.
Now don't let me discourage you, not all toppers are awful hubs just has a gift when it comes to buying crap.:hmm

Has anyone raised Guinea Fowl? I think they would be neat to have, but I know nothing about them. I wonder how they would do with all the foxes, hawks, possums and coons? Probably not well.
I had a big flock for quite a while and they did great. Only lost 2 to predators, so not bad considering we live in the woods. I built them an extra tall hoop coop, they like roosting high. Also don't try moving them from place to place, they hate that. Remember if you get keets you will probably have more males than females. They breed in pairs.

Clayton came with his name. It was a way to remember how to pronounce D’Uccle. (Doo-clay.) I thought about changing it then one day he crowed and in my best faux southern drawl I said “Why Clayton D’Uccle I do declare.” and that was it, Clayton kept his name.

If you call the honking noise I’m making crowing. :hmm I’m still taking meds and feeling slightly better. I actually need to go get more. Or bribe someone to risk the plague zone to bring me some.
I’m still off work so lots of sleep in my future. That’s my plan anyway.

Maybe someone can do a doorstep drop off ring the bell and run from the germs before being infected......

Its a good name, but everytime I hear you talk about the boy I picture a wiry little old man trying to melt my grandma's panties off with pecan pie.
So he's named properly.:gig
Hopefully at least one brave soul will bring you some meds, you don't need to be driving sick.
