Good morning! We FINALLY have a baby!View attachment 1723458

Miss May is maybe needing a foot spa today.



She is unlikely to accept such handling.
She is limping slightly on the foot with the broken nail.

She is a big bird at 11# or so. If I don't make it just know I was flogged to death.
Not what I want my tombstone to read.

I also need to spray all the layers. I can't wait for warm temps in the morning so will be running them down and netting them.

The plan.....
Catch, spray, release to the fenced area around the run.
If I don't make it.....again likely flogged to death.

Best of luck to you. Some of those birds have some power behind those wings.

Ahh Sable and Tilly working together to keep you busy lol!
I feel bad for Sir Henry's siblings he is rolling everybody, pecking inside holes, and he's even been pecking the wires in the bator....I can tell already that is going to be a fun baby.

I'm glad you said it... I'm inclined to think you've got a boy too.. they're Usually (always) the jerks.

My giant human is sick.. red throat, but not spots. Hoping it's just a viral thing that passes quickly. I picked her up from school & she's in bed w/ hot tea w/ honey & a mucinex pill. We've got a competition this weekend that between fees and hotel I've paid over $600 to attend.. girl better get better.

Yeah, i'm pretty sure that is a dude in the bator, if it is a girl she's going to be a royal pain in the butt.

Yeah. She has one dance late on Friday night 10:35!!!! Fortunately it's only a couple hours away and we'll get there in plenty of time for her to get ready. We're actually pretty lucky b/c some kids have to dance at 4pm on Friday. Then she doesn't dance again until Sunday morning.. BUT it's a waterpark resort and most of the reason it's so expensive is b/c of the water park. Hopefully she'll feel better in time so she can have fun. I forgot about the emergen-c stuff. I have some, I'll throw it at her. Thanks! She's been outside in the cold and wet for track practice for the past couple of weeks.. so I'm sure that hasn't helped.. plus disease ridden kids at school.

If it's not a boy I'd be shocked. It's it a bantam?
