The chicks put themselves to bed again tonight. I will count that as a win.

Itty Bitty is sitting with Miss May again tonight. Miss May is in the bottom nest box at night for the last 9 days running. She is eating a bit in the mornings. I guess so long as she gets up and about in the mornings and I see her eat she is ok (ish).

Crooky is doing well enough even though she is naked in large areas. I see new feathers coming in.

Good morning Squatchers! I had so many things I wanted to do outside today but the weather apparently is not going to cooperate. It's raining and is supposed to rain all day.

Sweet Miss May!!! What is Crooky?

Crooky....sweet crooked crooky.......

She is a 3 year old BO that has a crooked beak, didn't molt heavily ever, and is now molting. This molt she dropped most of her feathers at once and for the first time revealed her whole body is crooked.
It is like the whole right side of her body has been moved down and back.
She is definitely odd but also very sweet and happy.

That does look like a guinea egg to you right? I don’t think any of my chickens could have gotten where we found the eggs.

How does this sound.....'Beautiful white Silkied Serama rooster needs a good home with some lovely ladies his size. He is 8 months old and quite the dancer.'
And also should I charge something for him or just give him away?

Charge something, he would likely get better care.
