Looks more like it's going to be a Dark to me and probably a cockerel judging by the thickness of those legs. This is what the lightest colored chick I've had looked like when it started feathering out.

Figures only one hatched and it's not white... They did send 11 eggs that were supposed to be white. The auction was for 10
I'm just glad it acts and looks like a cockerel. I have lots of hens he can cover.
I just hope he's not a bantam.. but the eggs were smaller than mine...he is half the size of mine. One is the same age but hatched 4 days late and is the same size as the one that hatched 4 days earlier. I'll try for a group shot tomorrow. They were not cooperating today.
 
It is 3 in the morning and i'm fully rested! Apparently sleeping by myself actually let me sleep! Wow so this is being an early bird...a whole new world man lol! Downside television is hot garbage at 3 am.:hmm
