So, in the last 24 hours my legs and feet have become pretty swollen. Of course, I can't find what I did with the compression socks I bought during my first pregnancy. Fortunately, my mom has some. My blood pressure is still ok (even if a bit higher than normal) and my hands aren't swollen.

Seriously gonna dump it.....but I did get the diet kind......just in case so no temptation there. ;)

Got some quinoa. Interesting that different kinds have different carb content. I got the lowest carb I could find. Going to give it a try. I did read about rinsing it first. I think I have a strainer with small enough holes.

I am bad and always forget to wash it :oops:
The flavor of quinoa is really mild, so I like it best cooked in broth rather than water. My favorite use for it though is as part of a filling for stuffed peppers :drool

I have chicken broth, a yellow squash, dill and lemon.......thinking it should taste bright that way. I plan to have it with catfish tonight.

Knowing it works in stuffed peppers makes me happy! I have 10 bell pepper plants plugging along.

If it works there it should work in chicken burritos instead of rice too. :drool

I knew when I bought her that she was a bit odd. I saw the foot thing back then. There were only 2 Derps left so home she came.
