Good morning friends! Missed you all.
I’m back now for the rest of the summer.
DD made it to Cali.
Next on the to-do list is to help her find a gastroenterologist in her area to help her manage her Chrohns. Biggest issue is finding one that does infusions either in their office or somewhere near her location so she doesn’t have to drive to UCLA every six weeks and lose a whole day of work.

@rjohns39 , so sorry to hear about Todd’s injury.
Cooper is also in a cone of shame and going stir crazy as well.

Took him to be neutered Friday and the long and short of it is: yay! they found his missing testicle! But it took a bit of searching.

He has one site where the normal neuter takes place,
But another, 5 inch incision in his abdomen from the big search for the hidden one.

Keeping him “down” has been a struggle since he’s a maniac to begin with.

He’ll be in the cone for a minimum of fourteen days they said, so we have a long ways to go still. I am worried that at some point he’ll figure out a way to get out of it, so I’ve so far been staying on top of him.

Has @Redhead Rae had her baby yet?
No baby yet that I know of.

@apryl29
They found it WAY up in his abdomen so it was more a case of “it never budged” rather than just didn’t decend.

They showed it to me. It had developed into a testicle rather than “became or stayed a rudimentary ovary” thank goodness, but wasn’t anywhere near where they expected it to turn up.

This dog has been groped so much as we’ve all felt everywhere for it for the better part of a year now.

So a few weeks back I went to TSC and I was browsing the clearance section and saw this: https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/p...y-hen-the-peck-stops-here-650-06?cm_vc=-10005
I've been having a problem w/ the 2 white ones pecking Olive & Damon on their tails and eating the feathers. It's been going on for a while and last year I sectioned them off into the smaller run, but I hate doing that.. I'd previously gotten the Pick No More stuff, but it is a weird syrupy consistency that's hard to apply. So anyway, I got the spray stuff and put it on Olive once. It must have worked b/c she's got tail feathers filling in now. They've also stopped pecking at Damon (they are the same color) even though I didn't get a chance to spray her. So if anyone has a picking issue it might be something worth trying.
I wonder if that product works like bitter apple spray works on a dog....

Good job on getting DD moved!

Good afternoon, i'm late but it rained for more than five minutes so I derped out.
Another morning of Henry doing his thing, it is so odd looking he's so little.
He's starting to do that walk that they all do, it reminds me of an old dude checking out a used car.
Other two still just giving him a lot of space in the morning, they want no part of whatever he's doing.
Husband stole and ate my breakfast this morning it was in the microwave had to make more.
Appauled does not cover it.
He still has no idea Bruce Lee is even here and has not missed those posts.:gig
@staceyj Good to see you back! :D

Talked to my 2nd cousin today, hsven't talked to her in over twenty years easy.
She's still hung up on me teasing her, but in my defense she got busted pooping in the yard like a dog for no good reason.
So yes, as a normal bratty child I teased her.
Must have hit a major nerve there she's still traumatised.
Seriously as rough as all the kids were in my family getting a couple newspapers tossed down for you is pretty darn mild. :hmm

This batch of kids is too easy, around 7 they still just wait for their supper around the pen.
Every single one, no stragglers, no lollygaggers, no difficult children at all.
It just isn't normal. No intrest in roosting yet, so my baby pen is a bit funny looking.
Barb is very smart, she's learned climbing the ramp closer to my hands and face gets her extra bites. You can't not feed something that cute when she's looking you dead in the face.
That girl is probably going to be mucho trouble.;)

LOL, you don't want to see the picture that this brought to mind . . .
