Hey guys.
I feel like crap. I haven’t slept more than 1.25 hours since I took a nap Sunday morning. My red blood cell count is so low they are talking about doing a transfusion and I feel like I’ve been beaten up. But it’s worth it.
My parents brought Thing 1 up for a visit yesterday. He was adorable with the Milk Drinker.

Wow, why the sudden want for a boy now?Well it is a cougar pit! A dozen hens ranging from two all the way to I think eight is her oldest.
Cougar pit, hence she got the big boys.![]()
I'm going to leave this one b/c I say something that gets us cleaned. They've never seen a man.
My poor chicken sons are doomed.
Prince is doomed, he'll be backup if anything happens to Negan he'll inherit fourteen crazy women so he didn't get off any easier.![]()
Aww. What good mommies. The best part of having a mama to raise them is no need for a brooder and heat lamp.My 2 Buff Bantam cochins are sharing being parents to these chicks! I am building them their own small coop.

I hope you feel better. Try to get more rest at the hospital before you head home. Even w/ family helping it's easy to feel like you should be doing more at home. Plus, having a baby when you had a toddler is a much different beast than when it's just 1 baby to care for. You did a great job, but you need to make sure you put your needs first in between feedings. When he's sleeping put down the phone & lay your head back.. there's nothing going on that's more important right now. We'll all be here after you get some sleep. I don't mean to nag, I just remember how utterly exhausted I was after #2 was born.. then going home, there wasn't even a pause b/c #1 still needed cared for. Those 3 months are going to fly by. Enjoy it!Hey guys.

Yes he is. I was surprised he didn’t fuss about Milkies when he saw the new Milk Drinker sucking away.Is the OG MD excited?
Glad thing 1 is excited and happy with his new brotherYes he is. I was surprised he didn’t fuss about Milkies when he saw the new Milk Drinker sucking away.

He's probably associating milkies w/ babies and he's a big boy so he doesn't need it anymore. Very mature of him.. at his age it was more of a comfort thing than nutrition.Yes he is. I was surprised he didn’t fuss about Milkies when he saw the new Milk Drinker sucking away.

Man, I was hoping they'd make it. Good to hear all your shipped babies are still going strong though.Morning folks
Neither one made it more than a few days. I'm glad I didn't ship them. All the birds arrived safe and sound and are all thriving in their new home.

Lesbian hens, she has had enough of it.Wow, why the sudden want for a boy now?
