Those girls just get thicker and thicker lol!
Wish I had a clue why they squeal so much over absolutely nothing.
These got full of dirt and couldn't move too well, if i'd have went by sounds not what I would have guessed happened.
They're so dramatic!

I always figured you were uncreepable, though I was too before the gross mattress topper.

The baby chick thing made me feel creepy. Like I shouldn't be looking at those pictures. Some dirty pervert looked up pictures of chick butts.

Looking good are this year's blue and green layers!
The green layers are reddening up.

Robin is the only one with a name.

Yes the overhead light in the big coop throws the color off.

Pretty birds, even if they have the weird 70's sepia coloring going on.

Anyone want odds on the chick? 10 to one, it's a boy!

I will try to get a comb shot later. This bird is big!

I'm voting boy too.. that comb, but if you prefer I can give you a bit of hope and say it might not be a boy.

Cappy firstly there is a Polish nearly the same color situated near the butt area without my glasses it looks sooo weird like a derp dachshund.
Secondly you're correct you've got a male. Black feathering in the leg region and coming in on the body.
Got to know...why does he have a matching polish buddy?

my guess is the buddy is for size comparison. It's cute how it's hiding behind the big one, like Save me!

Dear gawd! I am covered in dirt and sweat and my son wants me to meet him for lunch.
I still have half a dozen clearance gladiola to plant too.
I need more dirt anyway.

Oh and some steaks that are on sale so I can make jerky.


We have light cloud cover. I was trying to take advantage of.

I ordered Gold Laced Polish and the Derp was my free rare chick.

It's ok, I suspected as much. It was fun figuring it out. I have seen lots of Favorolle pullets lately, maybe someone needs him.

Keeping one bird seperate is a pain in the butt!
Beavis has the run and first coop section where that nest I hate is. I fixed the roost and cleaned that section yesterday so no nest.
Tucks decides she must lay in that nest.
I get the box put it in the middle section put hay in it make a butt dent.
It must have been acceptable, she's in there kicking around.
If that section wasn't blocked she wouldn't want in there.
