Well, you just got home! Put your feet up, and demand service!;)
Old, but I remember. There was an extremely annoying public health nurse visit for new moms the day after I got home with my second. I was getting the house ready for this inspection from the gov't nurse, and boy was I sore, tired and pissed when she showed up late. Be glad you do not live in the great state of CA.
I’m trying to take it easy.

I’d move back to the people’s republic of MD or NY before CA. They are legislating away a lot of parental rights for the sake of “the children”. They are also legislating away a lot of personal rights for “the public good”. I want to make my own decisions for me and my family, thank you very much. While WV has its own issues, it is more of a mind your own business thing going on.

Pretty! The girls in the front seem intent on getting the attention. :)

Keeping one bird seperate is a pain in the butt!
Beavis has the run and first coop section where that nest I hate is. I fixed the roost and cleaned that section yesterday so no nest.
Tucks decides she must lay in that nest.
I get the box put it in the middle section put hay in it make a butt dent.
It must have been acceptable, she's in there kicking around.
If that section wasn't blocked she wouldn't want in there.:barnie

Yeah that is Betty on the right and Cinders on the left. They are both the kind that want to be near me. They just prefer not to be touched. :gig I can understand it lol. Cinders has a pendulous crop so gets a regular groping and Betty used to be mean as sin. I would carry her around when she acted awful to Cinders. Now they are best buds.

Nothing quite says be a jerk like a space denied. :lau
Nice of you to fix her nest for her.

A CA refugee in AZ here, you're preachin' to the choir! The public health nurse visit was mandatory, no decision required . . .

Let's just say, it would not go well for anyone who might do that, I did not even think of it at the time. Just worked my butt off 2 days post-partum. Now, I am older and wiser.
I pushed to get the house clean (with LOTS of help) clean on Saturday in preparation for induction on Monday. I went into labor Sunday afternoon. I’m really glad we could come back to a clean house.

Yes and no. I’m more flexible without the baby bump in the way but I’m really sore so walking is more painful and I waddle more than I did when I was pregnant.
Take it easy as much as you can, you did a lot of work. :)

I'm digging Cinder's facial expression you can tell she gets extra care.
Nothing nice about my nest fixing, she'd wander around complaining and eventually lay where ever it fell out.
Tucks is not a bright girl, if she dosen't get what she wants then nothing else exsists.:barnie

Could say, "self induced"! My second was by appointment, inducement didn't happen, but . . . the house cleaning urge had passed, mine was 2 weeks late! House not cleaned for a month, then the "Lady" is coming??? It was really nothing, but they do not tell you that. No visit with the first, different era of govt? The 80's were not like now. Best wishes to you & thing #2!
