Good morning! I overslept so nobody is happy with me lol! :)

She is home and now on birth control implants, with a new one inserted any time she starts acting like she wants to lay, for the rest of her hopefully very long life. They weren't able to remove everything, so there is still the possibility of internal laying, but as long as we catch it when her comb changes color we should be good. Implants will be done 2 to 3 times a year.

She is very happy to be home, and Lizbeth was chatting up a storm cuz she was so happy to see her. It will be nice when Gurtrude's butt fluff grows back in, I'm afraid Lizbeth will peck her raw if they're out together after the incision heals.

It's good to have her home, though.

Lol! I needed all the coffee! No idea what happened,even wen't to bed at a decent hour nobody died thank goodness!
Rene did have two of her kids held hostage in the middle section, they were on the roost so she was just barely pecking toe tips....such noise, just knew there was carnage but nope.:D

I lol a lot at the toe nipping.

Mine were dustbathing....just them no other chicken anywhere near. Then the screaming started. :rolleyes:

It it bloody hot out. Supposedly we are 85° and 21% humidity. It feels like 100+ out there.
:barnie I am WAY to sweaty for 85°.

I have been trying to clean up my shop. It becomes a dumping ground for way to many of hubs things that belong in the shed. Seriously, a leaky chainsaw, leaf blower, gas cans that are the 40# kind, 150' of stiff arse hose for the giant compressor, giant paint spray rig and lots of tools. :hmm It is supposed to be my space. No wonder I end up working out on the ground all the time.
