I lol a lot at the toe nipping.

Mine were dustbathing....just them no other chicken anywhere near. Then the screaming started.
I run over thinking Peanut is being a giant arse.
Nope. One Derp TOUCHED the other. Dear gawd really? Gonna scream because your sister is to close? :hmm

It it bloody hot out. Supposedly we are 85° and 21% humidity. It feels like 100+ out there.
:barnie I am WAY to sweaty for 85°.

I have been trying to clean up my shop. It becomes a dumping ground for way to many of hubs things that belong in the shed. Seriously, a leaky chainsaw, leaf blower, gas cans that are the 40# kind, 150' of stiff arse hose for the giant compressor, giant paint spray rig and lots of tools. :hmm It is supposed to be my space. No wonder I end up working out on the ground all the time.
Put it all outside on a pallet with a tarp over it.

@pitbullmomma Go to Amazon and look up Kesoto pet rabbit harness leash. It's the style that Lizbeth is wearing in my profile pic. It will work very well for your needs.

You mean this one Anansi? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NVMRQBK/?tag=backy-20What kind of chicken is Lizbeth? (size/breed)

Thanks girl, I love you and your wacky house chickens, lol. I'm so glad you're girl is doing well.

FWIW, that "bantam" collar barely fits on Big Bird! that X Small is big! Guess my peanut head birds need an XX Small, lol. LMK if that collar s the right one, I will totally get it. It's like 3 dollars and change with free shipping!

You need a She Shed! Lol

Things got crazy when he brought home 6 motorcycles to refurbish. I cannot complain much about that. He makes big money doing it.
Those bike parts in boxes kind of took over. We are down to 2 extra bikes and one really ugly scooter. That means I can put things back where they go. No tarping on the yard I would have to be the one dealing with the wasp nests that seem to form overnight.

You need a She Shed! Lol

Hehehe....a "Sheshier" she shed. :p

I have the greenhouse, 2 chicken coops, the broody house and the shop.....I doubt a she shed of any sort would go over well. :lau

@pitbullmomma Yes, that's the one. Lizbeth is a banty gold laced Cochin and not much bigger than she was in my Avatar. The best thing is that one is completely adjustable. You will need to make sure it's looser around the neck than you would a rabbit. The way you know it's when she doesn't act like she's funny l doing and can walk forward and forage normally. If it's too snug she will act like she's drunk and can't wouldn't pass a roadside sobriety test. As long as the section just behind her wings is snug she won't get it. I'll send pics later so you can see how it's put on.

Just for laughs, and so you can see what happens when you pick up a chicken by the back of the harness... And yes, this is Lizbeth...

They become handbags, feet tucked up and all. It may take a few seconds for them to realize they won't die, but the do get used to it and don't guess at all after a few times. She was not harmed, and Gurtrude does the same thing.

Gurtrude update: doing great and is a favorite at the very clinic because she's so laid back. They were actually caring her around the clinic several times while she was there, and she willingly was in to get carrier in you place it in front of her.

Yeah! Of course sister being too close is grounds for screaming lol! I caught Barb screaming at a cabbage moth, it wasn't doing anything just being a moth. I saved her, put the moth over the fence.Ugh the heat, next week 101 is our high and 80 the low...can't wait!
Sorry about your man junk in your space sounds a lot like my shed unless I bought a cement mixer and forgot.

Please, pictures when you get done this sounds neat. :)
I'm actually going to make her a butt saddle out of cross-stitch fabric with feathers collected from previous molts hot glued in, a layer of soft fabric so the feathers don't poke her, and some other fabric to turn into a way to keep it on.

I just put the kids on the roost tonight, it is raining no time to wait.
Lots of screams, less than usual though. Prince has Rene's,eyes they aren't deep set they're almost popped out.
When you pick him up he kind of looks like Barney Fife. :gig

OMG you got a Barney Fife. :lau
That is hilarious!
Rene is pretty silly herself. :gig

My hubs has the mixer firmly crammed in the back corner of the shed......where I put it. :p

The table saw is in there too. No space to properly set it up anywhere. I usually just use saw horses and the circular saw anyway.
