Official Squatch Watchers

Good Morning.:caf I am up too early, due to work on the new house. It has been hot, over 100 even here in Prescott! Got some monsoon rain and cooled off to 80 yesterday afternoon, but that limits the outside work to before the rain comes! So we are up early. Got the old crap cleared out, moving truck is scheduled for Tuesday. (Separate load for all my husband's garage stuff -- the real reason he likes the house is the antique garage)! Painter Monday. The former owner smoked & the house reeks every time you open the door. Zissner and fresh paint along with new carpet, then another moving truck with the furniture. Dylan has to spend a lot of the day in her cage.

Moving is ALWAYS way to much work. :th

Sorry about a lot of cage time for Dylan. She may get rather cranky.

She was napping when we got home yesterday, and did her "fluff out the feathers until twice as big as normal and growl" at my DH when he came in and said Hi. She gets to be out and down on the floor for an hour every day. She loves to scratch the ground like a chicken, and chew any kind of wood. Lots of moving around time is good for any animal, even us!

Good morning! It rained last night and today is supposed to be high 90's so it is going to be nasty out there!
I'm so glad the coop is well shaded this time off year. :)
Morning everyone.

No way am I first one up. :caf

Tilly the coon hound went back to bed. :lau
I am sure she is on my pillow.

I guess we are heading out in the boat this morning. It is going to be a hot day again.

I was awake at 6am tending to a Milk Drinker who had spit up coming out his nose. Poor little guy was struggling to breathe. I've long since given up on nose suckers (possibly TMI and gross for some folks) in favor of using my mouth over my kid's nose and sucking. It works very well. It is what moms used to do way back before nose suckers were invented. Well I started using this method on Thing 1 one time when he was really congested and I needed 5 hands to keep him restrained and use the nose sucker. He was probably around a year old. Well this morning I tried it on the Milk Drinker and it helped. But I noticed later that my poor little baby had a hickey on his nose! Apparently new born skin is more susceptible to bruising than 1 year old skin. I felt so bad. However it looks a lot better after a couple applications of arnica cream
