That is infuriating! I'm mad for you, iv'e been in nearly the same place just repace AC with rotted beyond use woodpile.:mad:

We are on our first road trip as a family of 4. We are driving 6 hours away to Delaware. We are staying in a hotel because my parents have readied their house for sale and there are only so many beds. We are driving up today, tonight we’ll hang out with my brother, cousin (also my bff), her husband and daughter. Tomorrow is a built in recovery day. Saturday is a memorial luncheon for my Dad’s aunt. It will be nice to see family members I haven’t seen in years/ a decade. Sunday, we are having a party at my parents house for Thing 1’s birthday for extended family, welcome the Milk Drinker to the family, and a farewell to my parents Delaware house. Sunday night we are moving to a hotel in PA so on Monday we can visit with DH’s Grandmother. Tuesday we will be doing some shopping on the way home. We are already about an hour and 15 min into the trip. We stopped about an hour out for breakfast at Chick-fil-A, I can’t resist a chance to have breakfast there, and to top off the Milk Drinker.

At this point, I’m just glad that I have two kids that don’t mind being their car seats.

Have a safe trip! The nice part about nursing is you don't need to worry about packing bottles & stuff!

I was out back doing regular stuff. Cleaning the coop and such.
I needed to scrub out one of the dish pan nests. Ok so I go turn on the faucet....as I had done yesterday and twice earlier to water the garden.
I got swarmed and stung several times by FREAKING WASPS!

White vinegar applied and 2 benadryl taken.

Later this evening I will find those so and so's and yes heavy duty poison will be used liberally!

Good gawd the stings hurt!

Oh no! You're not allergic, are you? Kill w/ extreme prejudice! I hope you get them all. So rude! Might stick the whole a/c unit in a big trash bag to keep the corpses from stinging you too.

Put heat on the stings. I know you're already warm but the heat will help dissipate the venom. I know it felt better on my palm. I would be at work I would rest my hand on the coffee maker and stand there with my eyes closed. People probably thought I lost it.

Oh I would be finding matches and gasoline!!!
Getting wasp stung OMG! It is like getting stabbed with a giant red hot needle!

Luckily no I am not highly allergic. I do get the big red welt and the burning but nothing I cannot deal with.

I don't think they are yellow jackets since my yellow jacket trap is empty even though it has fresh bait and has been there a week.
I am betting they are some sort of paper wasp.

Mud daubbers built a nest in my shop that I killed last week.

Did I mention I hate wasps?

Ugh, my parents would put wet tobacco on stings it worked but it was odd lol! Alot of old timer remedies are odd though.
The wood pile was torched as soon as I stopped crapping bricks and you would not beleive the wasps that came out!

I did not know a whole bunch of idiots are planning to storm area 51 in September.
Yeah, i'm sticking a toe out from under my rock and getting the "news" from the past month or two.
But seriously i'm parking in front of the t.v with 50lbs of snacks, Nellis AFB does not play around.
It will be more entertaining than black friday! :lau

Yeah, they're already telling people to back off. I think it's more people joking around than a serious plan.
 
I posted my resume on indeed.com. It was pretty half-assed & I'll have to fix it up later. I'm so done here.. I really don't care at the moment. I'm hoping to find something close that pays a lot better. I put on there I wanted $20/ hr... probably lowballing myself, but it's a lot more than I make right now.
