I paid less than that to have my Standard Poodle put down. Of course, that was years ago.

Here it is 200+ for a standard poodle size dog.
Just for them to take care of Sparky's body it was $160. No we didn't get his ashes back, a paw print or anything.

Even better go in and act shocked when they tell you she a chicken not a parrot.
"No wonder I could never get her to talk!"

That would be funny.

The likely reality is I will have to euthanize at home.

I generally bury my pets wherever I live at the time of their death.

Cannot do that if they go to the vet to be euthanized.

I would run out of room too.....I guess I like lots of pets.
Since we have been in this house it would be 5 cats, 7 dogs, a parrot, 2 parakeets, a ferret and many chickens. Fish get the flush.
