Official Squatch Watchers

Good afternoon! I love Monday it is so flipping peaceful.
Had the worst time locking the kids in the coop yesterday, hubs kept wandering out there asking questions about the chickens.
I'm all for questions but ask when i'm back inside, he knows he freaks them out dosent stop him though.
BTW the question was "Who is Rene's mother?"
I have no idea, she's hatchery. Then he wanted to argue she dosent look like a Faverolle...um ok?
I just stopped conversation at that point , I can use that breath for better purposes.
And now I know why the Sam's club trip was extra awful, it was tax free weekend. I didn't know, would not have gone if I did.:)

The one here isn't dirty at least visibly. There is just an odor.
The closest comparable scent would be hot garbage. The odor is worst where they put the carts, so I get a cart fast.

Our Sam's is pretty clean EXCEPT their eating area - garbage cans are right near one side of tables and flies go back and forth. I once brought a "sticky strip" to catch them -it did.

Shopping on Sundays at Sam's is a mistake. They are packed with people and kids running in and out of aisles. Kids crying, kids having temper tantrums. Parents yelling at kids. Weekdays are much better especially just before lunch.

My brother's area Sam's was very busy yet they suddenly closed it -gone!. They told him he could go to the one in Iowa. He lived in Illinois- Dupage county. Actually the Sam's near me is very convenient since he comes over once a week. Then Sam's automatically renewed his membership. He had a fit and cancelled and got a refund.

I know my brother "so well,". I bought a membership to Sam's even though I hardly ever buy anything there except the lunch and you don't need membership to do that. Then things were fine and dandy. He buys plenty there when I show my card. Men :plbb.

When I joined I was supposed to get a $ 25. gift card to use. Their system wouldn't print any out, so they said instead I could get that amount off the $ 45. membership. So that worked for me.

I don't even remember when my membership started but will probably let it run out. By then my brother should be aware of how much he would be using one. I don't have the $$ to keep doing things like that. He DOES! In my family the women always kept the peace. My mother taught me well. But she always got the crappy end of the stick. Not me.

Glitter I hate glitter. Around here if someone has glitter on their face or lashes, etc. we all commiserate about getting it from the greeting card displays in the store. Glitter can stay with you for hours and show up in the darndest places.
This past year's dance recital theme was Glitter on the Dance Floor, and there was... and on me and my apartment and the hallway and in my car and everywhere else and will be forever and ever.

Or they should have one or two levels below where they start degreed workers and let them work their way up. That is what my SIL’s job did. They just changed their rules before she was hired because they were having a hard time getting degreed workers in the middle of WV. Imagine that! They require workers without a bachelors degree to work an extra year on probation (normal is 3 months for training) and they start at I think $1.50 less an hour but can get to the degreed worker’s starting pay within 2-3 years.

Glitter is the STD of art supplies it befouls anything that touches it and it is impossible to clean up entirely.
That'd be amazing. I don't have a degree, but a 50 cent raise each year would be awesome. Last contract it was 4%, 3%, 2%. It's about useless, ends up being about 25 cents. This last year my entire raise went to the local school levy that's now based on your income rather than your property value. They have it that our base, no degree required people were a step 1, and our degree require people were a step 3. It's completely wrong, but the people who decide stuff like to forget that the IT people are the ones who provide the entire system with the tools the need to do their job.

Hey @Chickassan, @Evilkitty162 here is a fellow gamer....do you game too or is my memory failing? I am afraid my gaming tastes are firmly stuck in the 90s/ early 2000s  I mainly limit myself to Kingdom Hearts, Pokémon, Zelda, and most recently Spyro. Apparently my tastes never grew up when the rest of me did :lau
I LOVE Spyro. I finished on of the games once and was going back to beat it 100% and my kids overwrote my save. I like to remind them of that once in a while. My oldest plays it sometimes. No idea which one it was. I have 2 for the PS2 and they're both enjoyable.

I'm sorry, still don't think my toilet seat is that bad.
The bathroom is yellow, it was my only choice besides wood and those always crack and the dude of the house will always get hurt once it does.
They don't make yellow toilet seats anymore and clear matches everything.
I don't think the butterflies are even real, the flowers are.
For like a year iv'e been thinking "that is a nice seat" still do, not my fault other people don't have taste.:caf
At least you don't have to lift the lid to see if you forgot to flush.

You really can’t beat em :D I was soooo excited when the remastered Spyro was announced and it totally lived up to my every hope :love
That's good to know, but I doubt they have it for PS2.. I have a wii, but I don't like the controls.

Butterflies and flowers seemed ok to me, but I would draw the line at barbed wire! Styles change, I remember when waterbeds with mirrored ceilings were the height of fashion! :old
With my luck the plastic would break and I'd tear my backside up w/ the wire.

Am I the only one who likes 90+ dry heat?
I live in Ohio, I've never experience 'dry heat'.

Gorgeous!!! & so photogenic too.

Anybody else a simmer or is that filthy habit mine alone?
Almost ashamed iv'e got every sims game and the expansions and stuff packs.
We wont talk about the mods.
My oldest plays. She'll spend hours on it. Ugh.. those mods. I swear 1/2 my hard drive is mods now.

Ack! Outbreak of Cocci, two dead so far. I need to fill that run with sand. It will likely kill me.
Oh no! So sorry.

You should have told him you'll have to dig out her birth certificate.

The lady that was supposed to get my deep was late to the swap and I wasn't feeling well so I still have him. He is a nut. I put some bantams in with him. So far it is ok. I went to fill their feeder and he jumped right in the bucket!
I hope you feel better!

Lol! I hope your kiddo dosent have some of the mods iv'e got installed.
I found wicked whims and the sims has just been a smut fest since.

No kidding just wanted to smack hubs over chicken questions, already was in an awful mood.
Really took all my effort not to ask wtf is wrong with Rene?
I'm getting smarter apparently or i'm just getting better "nope" skills.:D

Thanks, I think it was the heat and exertion together.

LOL, I've lived Ohio! Never again, Seattle is far better -- at least when it is wet, it's cool. In the Summer, it is dry. Even if it is hot, it is not humid like Ohio! Here in Prescott, AZ we are having the Monsoon -- AZ speak for Ohio weather. Hot and thunderstorms with heavy rain. 89 and raining right now. We turned the AC on for the first time this year today, usually we can use a swamp cooler.
