We are off the mountain! It was a nice ride. Perfect temps, light cloud cover, pretty wildflowers, deer, birds and butterflies were out and about.

One deer was a bit of a scare....not sure if it was going to jump in front of hubs or head back to the trees at first.

We stopped on the way down at a very popular restaurant called Vern's. They have amazing cinnamon rolls.
I had an omlet.
To early for lunch to be served I guess.

Doing the Mexican restaurant tonight. They have the absolute best queso. I will hit the wing place tomorrow.


He dogs acted like I had been gone a week.
Funny how they got all worked up over just a few hours.

Tilly and hubs are taking a nap.

Thank you all again for the birthday wishes.

Nunny! That is a great idea for a kitty toy. I am glad it worked.

It was a beautiful morning for sure.

I may head back out this afternoon yet.

I still have my boots on.

I ordered a few new rulers and several quilt patterns too.

Kim has a new noise...a noise she gets on her tiptoes to make.
I will capture this wondrous new noise.
Until then this is what it immediatly put me in mind of.

Well I need to get out more.

My favorite Mexican restaurant changed their hours and had closed at 3pm.

We went to a different one.
Not good. Not good at all. There the HOT queso was about as spicy as Colby cheese.

I will be at my wing place for lunch tomorrow. Where my favorite sauce will light your lips on fire.
