Yep, C.C. Tinsley was an intentionally purchased roo. He's a black barred olive egger, and Luci is a silkie. The other black one we think is pure Chihuahua.

I felt that lump on Marlene's face, it is about the size of a pea now but it is hard as a rock and it does not move.
Still no clue. I don't want to mess with it since it isn't impedeing her in any way but i'd sure like to know what it actually is.

Did you post pictures and I missed it? Poor little Clayton had a swollen face. Sort of behind his waddle. I squeezed it and tried to get it out but nothing happened. I put Propolis on it for a few days and it eventually went down.

No, you didn't. Iv'e never posted a picture of the bump.
It is one side of her lower jaw area, it looks like she has an abscessed tooth if hens had teeth.
It has shrank considerably it was marble sized.
I can say it is rather smooth too, not irregularly shaped at all.
It reminds me of when you get something like a thorn or a splinter and your body encapsulates it.
That bump is that smooth and hard.

Ok this is the bump, tried to get a head on pic but she isn't having it.
First pic is her no bump side, others are bump side.
It makes her look like she's smirking.
