Great job and yay for the pup. So did you choose one?Total count for the day was $1,005. We still have the table saw, big evaporative cooler, car shade thingy and a few other things. I took the car and hubs the truck with all the non sold smalls except a few antiques and yes tools to donate.
That is without counting the tow behind trailer that sold.
I can list those things still here in individual ads so maybe they will still sell.
I am beat. It was a tremendous amount of work.
In 30 minutes we go to meet the puppies.
I'm having the same situation right now. The white ones molting makes it look extra feathery. What a night, kids did not want to get in the coop, small skunk was under there so they had to scream at it.
I stuck my broom under and shooed it out only then did they go to bed.
Floor is inch and a half thick pine boards, skunk and derps were both safe but they still made me shoo it.
Then I went grocery shopping.
Store is sad, picked clean.
Beer isle full of college kids, loud obnoxious and blocking the ice cream.
I pushed and got some anyway, sheeze im glad im done!
Gah, my yard looks like a flippin pillow factory lol!
Ya'll did so good!![]()
How bad are you supposed to get hit?
Oh wow, I bet it feels amazing to actually get some decent sleep [most of the time]. I sure don't miss the overfull part, or the leaking, but you can't beat it for convenience!I did. It was nice, for about a half hour until Thing 1 woke up and wanted to get in with me. The tub is large enough that we had plenty of room. I got our shortly after he got in. I think he likes the garden tub as much as I do. He followed me into the bathroom this morning and started stripping. He wanted another bath.
The Milk Drinker ended up sleeping for 1 hr and 45min. A nice solid nap. He already sleeps really well at night. He is usually asleep by 9 and sleeps until 3:30. The then usually wakes for a snack around 5-6 and sleeps until 7:30-8. MUCH BETTER sleeper than Thing 1. He was waking every 2-3 hours to nurse until I night weaned him at 20 months. The biggest problem I have with how long the Milk Drinker sleeps is that I often get painfully overfull by morning.
I used to have a garden tub, my older one was a toddler and she liked to pretend she was a mermaid and swim in it, not that the water was very deep. It's a nice way to get it little play time inside.
Gross. I'm going to assume that the bag was left outside b/c it smelled bad & they didn't want it sitting in the trash can, but they could have brought it inside. At least the one guys were nice enough to leave the fish in the freezer where it wouldn't stink up the trash.I was busy the last 2 days. Working. So not sure if I’ve said before that I work for a trade school. They run a 3 week program and include housing for the students. People from all over the world have come for training. What I clean is basically the dorm/ long term hotel.
I guess this class was a rough one. A group of oddballs that happened to come together. We’ve seen some weird stuff at work but this class takes the cake. My friend and coworker found a fish in the freezer. A whole fish! Gives new meaning to “what the carp!”. Then today I was lucky enough to find a bag of fish...remains. Left out on a back porch for who knows how long. It was bones and grey goo. And those were different buildings.![]()
At least you were able to get the baby back to sleep so you don't have to be tired & dealing w/ a cranky sick baby. Hope everyone feels better soon! It's the season for it though.. my oldest is home from school today [It's only the 2nd week!] b/c she woke up around 5:30 puking.. germs are running rampant here!*sigh* I’m having a hard time sleeping because DH and the Milk Drinker are both stuffy from the cold we were all hit with. The baby did one of his midnight wake ups and now I can’t sleep because DH is snoring. At least I was able to clear the Milk Drinker’s nose enough that he isn’t having breathing issues.
That's a lot of peaches! I got a 20# box on the way back from TN, I froze most of them. The kids are still making smoothies from them!Morning everyone.
As usual it will be a busy day here. Lots of errands to do and about 35# of peaches to do something with. The tree did well this year. The peaches are beautiful and big. I am glad to have them after losing our other tree last year I thought we might not get any. Looks like someone else close by just have a peach tree too. The one we have is not self pollinating.
I am hoping everyone has a good weekend and has a great day.
