As usual it will be a busy day here. Lots of errands to do and about 35# of peaches to do something with. The tree did well this year. The peaches are beautiful and big. I am glad to have them after losing our other tree last year I thought we might not get any. Looks like someone else close by must have a peach tree too. The one we have is not self pollinating.

I am hoping everyone had a good weekend and has a great day.

That's super! We have one pear on the tree I planted last year.

Your pear is still a baby tree.
I am a bit jealous. Pear trees don't do well here.

I put a peach crumble in the oven. I hope it turns out yummy.
The rest I need to freeze or can. Freezing is easier.

Our peach tree died, and one apple tree. We have 2 more apple trees, 2 plum trees and 2 pear trees, plus 2 pecan trees I just planted.

I hope they all do well for you.
Apple trees here get fire blight pretty often and have to be removed.
I may try again in a couple years.

Did it fruit for you this year?

Most my trees are from Home Depot and have done pretty good. The Apple trees made me sad. It was nothing HD did wrong it was our crazy weather and fire blight.
 
Yep, it fruited.
Didn't have a ton, looked good to start but most just fell off.
Honestly the only fruits that are just doing really well are blackberries and grapes.
I just went to feed the neighbor's cat.
I saw she has a new statue lol!
I'm wearing off on her.:lau
