Maybe this winter will have you a bit less busy outside and feeling like a small desert. :hugs

It was a real challenge getting the blood sugars under control.
I am figuring out what to eat and when so can actually have treats like crumble once in a while.

Cappy....has your doctor checked your sugars or are you feeling yucky from the tick bite?
I have had my sugars tested. Dr. says the Lyme disease will make me feel bad for at least 3 months.

It has been miserably hot and dry here.
I watered directly 14 lilac bushes then hooked up the drip system for them.
I figure they really need it right now. They are ~8' tall and looking rather wilted. I will let the system run til noon or so. Then hook up the soaker hose behind the run. Those trees/plants likely need a good dose too.

Birds and dogs all got clean waterers first of course.

Looking at hubs office I found ~100 dvd's that should have been in the yard sale. :hmm I sold that player dang it.
I think they can be played on a computer too though.

Lots of errands today as hubs didn't get his pay until 4 pm yesterday. Gotta get the mortgage paid and car insurance for sure.

Dip did better last night. No bypassing the door to Derp out at coop closing time. :D

I hope that means you'll feel a little better every day.

Aww Dip is figuring out how to chicken.

Wow, Pat is a big boy! He must be good b/c I couldn't imagine putting any of my boys on my shoulder. Willie is the only one I that I'd almost trust and he keeps trying to bit me.

Hubs ate my chocolate doughnuts.
I'm almost mad enough to fight.

Back to hot and dry here too, plants are really suffering. Aww Dip is starting to get it, soon she'll be over food grenades too. :)

Pat turned out to be a big, pretty girl lol! :D

I went and got Jack a new cushion. That green foam is freaking expensive! It was 40% off so I cannot complain to much.
I needed 48"X28". It comes 24" wide. :(
I will modify the cover of I have to. He seems to like it already. I shoved it in the cover and sat my big butt on it. It is much better than the crib mattress I had been using.

I need to get some to make a bed for River too. She will need the good cushion factor. Hubs is home for lunch and likes its feel. She will get a 2'x4' bed too. :p

It tickles me that ya'll try out the dog beds lol.
I bet Jack is happy to have some new cushion, even if he didn't get to try it first.:lau
I need to replace the cat bed, she's super old so I hope I don't jinx her.
Everytime cat food is bogo I have the same thought.:hmm

"Technically" he was already on it and I sat next to him. :p
His bed frame puts his bed at really close to sofa height. It works when he needs a snuggle and the sofa has some other dog on it.

Hubs actually laid down on it before he told me to get more cushion for a bed for River. :lau

Their comfort is important here. :D

Hey it isn't like I won't sit in the new cat bed to see if it needs more stuffing lol!
I'm just glad it isn't just me. :D
