That intro/acceptance time can be a real PITA.
My old guy couldn't care less as long as he still gets petted and treats. The girls are pretty easy going too.



They grow so fast! :th
And sleep in funny positions. :lau
For some reason things always seem easier the second time...kid, job, readjusting it all gets easier.

I am sad to report many losses from Squatcher flocks. I lost all but one of my birds to dogs. Apryl and Nunny both lost birds to diseases, mites, other sad things.

On a happier note though...

-Henny and her DH have selected their new pup River. Henny has been dog sitting her and all the other wrinkle puppies from time to time.

-Chicky had a birthday and has been endeavoring to sex-down (de-sexify?) a gifted Halloween costume.

-Anansi had a birthday too and also acquired an awesome new service dog (Peach) for one of her daughters.

-Nunny’s friend helped cut down a lot of annoying trees on her property.

-Cappy performed well on her stress test.

-My DH bought me an adorable leopard gecko. We named him Hoshi

-Ruby has been hanging out with us again lately (yay!) She recently moved to Colorado.

-Bob is figuring out the best way to butcher the piggies


Annndddd that is all I can remember. Good to have you back Rae!

It would have been easier if the neighbor hadn't rewarded him and their dog for bickering at the fence. His idea of getting them to stop was a dog biscuit. So I get to deal with dog aggressive behavior, which usually doesn't cause an issue because I don't have to monitor nearly as much. With Peach being big and us needing to declutter the house, it's actually more stressful than if we had the chance to prepare more. But there are some things you just can't pass up, and this is the best diamond in the rough that we could have ever hoped to find. I guess the stress is worth it, because the benefits outweigh the negatives.
