Official Squatch Watchers

I yelled at my mom again. She isn't speaking to me now. I don't understand, it's like I can't control my own actions. I want to reconcile with her, but I keep on blowing it.I feel so dumb.
Maybe write out what you are feeling and thinking and hand it to her and walk away? I know when I was younger sometimes it was hard to get out what I wanted to say because having a conversation lead to more buttons being pushed and me blowing up all over again.

Ugh, I feel horrible. One of the gas bottles leaked a little bit while I was driving back and I got a bad headache, borderline migraine. It got better after resting a while. Then I went out to check on the broth I'm trying to boil down and the flame was out. I got another whiff of the gas while I was trying to light it and it made the headache come back twice as bad. I think I'm going to lay down for a bit.

Rae beat me to it.

Think about your approach with your mom. Each mom is just as unique as each young person. You know how to tell if she would react badly to the list.

Maybe approaching it with a "hey mom, can we chat?" And start with saying you don't mean to lose your temper. Ask her advice in learning to control it. You know keep it calm, be respectful, be receptive. And be sure to thank her and tell her you love her. It goes a very long way.
:hugs

Hope you are feeling better soon. I started getting a headache and took a pill, which headed it off. Bright flashes of light seem to trigger mine.

Since going gluten-free I don't get them often. Also, I don't like how I feel for several days after taking an immitrex, so I stopped. Usually a nap, and treating it homeopathically works for me.

The child had several friends over today, phone text was going off ALL day long, trying to tend to the chickens, blah, blah, blah. The child is grounded until the morning because he “forgets” and he keeps questioning “why”. If I am nice enough to let you have friends over, go pick up pizza, tell you that you have to stay outside I mean it. When I tell you to go back outside, please don’t ask me why 100 times and then you forgot. I didn’t embarrass him in front of his friends, so I am pretty proud of myself.

Sesame went to roost a hour early tonight. :( She is tired and her comb is flopped, it is still red and she looks good though. I fixed her a small water dish with Corid on her roost and she got plenty of worms today. What else would cause diarrhea?
