Being mom is no easier then being a teen kid. Yup managing not to embarrass them is pretty awesome.

Give him a hug tomorrow and take the time to play a board game or cards or a video game. Basically do something HE likes with just him even if its making some simple cookies.

Gotta keep that communication open ya know.

Be careful, a lot of the ones on CL are scams. Usually they will say they are giving them away, you just need to send money for shipping. Of course, you never get a dog.

Yea Cap that crosses my mind with every ad I see. These are about an hour away so I would not be handing over money unless a pup was leaving with me that day.
The humane society only has one puppy and 2 adult dogs available here. They want 500 for the mutt puppy and 125 for dogs over 2 years. Weird.

Sure are cute dogs in the ad though.

Yup. 500 for a literal pound puppy.

We have a serious problem here in northern Colorado. People running puppy mills, people bringing in huge numbers of dogs from out of state puppy mills, backyard breeding of "designer" dogs. Its horrible trying to get a healthy puppy and trying to give one in need a loving home.

I am a bit put off by the cutsie name they give the dogs in the ad. I went reading a bunch more ads and it looks like that may be yet another puppy mill turning out designer dogs.
