Good morning everyone. Going to pick up a giant pallet today and hopefully a bunch of other pallets. I am building a run.
Still lots of plants to put in the ground! Gosh I am nuts. Had to move the youngest chicks into the barn , it has gotten quite cold. There is a rabbit due to kindle later this week. I hope she does well with her babies. She did great last time.

Is that a typo or is rabbit birth really kindle?
I know ewes "lamb" and goats "kid" but isn't a baby bunny a kit...so rabbits would?
I think I'll stick with "birth." LOL

I know you asked Cappy but I always knew it as "kindling".

Running the washer through a trouble shooting this morning. The leak could have been a few things so...... That it is just an easy fix.

Well the leak has been found. Easy fix too.
Just need to clean out the p trap.

I found a molting hen dead in a nest last night after sunset.
It was' Lucky' who 2 years ago survived a hawk attack and spent the winter in the living room. At least she had 2 extra years.
I only have a couple with names.

Although I did wash a TON of puppy bedding that had been peed on by puppies.

I managed to sleep until 6. The Milk Drinker woke twice to nurse but went right back to sleep. Thing 1 isn’t well this morning. I think he’s got what we had. Neither I nor DH are feeling particularly well today but better than yesterday.

Not really. I’m in a bit of a fog too and I hate doing dishes. The deal for us is I cook (most of the time) do most of the baby care and work. And he does a lot of the toddler care, dishes and laundry. He would do most of the laundry folding too but I hate how he folds stuff so I don’t let him fold much beyond his clothing. He doesn’t have a job because his health was off and the stress of him being away from home isn’t worth the paltry amount of money he could earn. Between gas, and wear and tear on the car I could out earn his net pay by working 5-7 more hours a week.
