It should be.
Mornings get kind of nutty here.
Once it's just me and the critters it mellows out a lot.

I guess I get a bit cranky when it is unnecessary stuff.

Good morning, cold again you'd think we would get an autumn but nope guess not.
Kids are out and fed, hubs is fed. Bob helped his dang self to a nutrigrain bar he was going to be getting anyway only I was planning to unwrap it first.
Everybody is super pushy today about getting fed, well except me I just ate a couple doughnuts.
Bob ate healthier than I did.

You get cranky? You are kidding me.

It should be.

Morning!

Been up since 4:45.

The Milk Drinker woke up to nurse but didn't go back to sleep. It worked out pretty well though. DH left for the chiropractor around 7. He nursed to sleep by 7:15. I put him down in his crib and was able to get some laundry going and start work and I was able to manage Thing 1 without interference from the baby. DH got back around 9 and that was when the Milk Drinker woke up.

Yeah...River is a tuckered pup when she has been playing with the big dogs.
I am really glad my big dogs are trying hard to be gentle with her.
For my plumbing fix to have fixed the issue too.
I am not a fan of all the fancy gadgetry that gets stuck in new appliances these days.
Now most have an autofill sensor that decides how much water you really need. The complaints are that it doesn't start filling with the lid up...cannot rinse soap cup...does not put enough water to even cover the clothes...adding water by bucket it will just drain off "excess". Not the hassles I want for sure.




Cute buggers Cappy. I would want them in a pen too.

I don't like gadgets in my appliance or my car.

Sometimes I think I was just born cranky.

For real....I seem less cranky since getting the blood sugars more controlled. Yes very high and very low sugars make peeps grumpy as tater.

They say.....people and their dogs tend to look alike.....I guess a grumpy faced wrinkly dog is fitting.

They're really pretty! I know what you mean.. too many predators to let them roam unattended, & it's unfair to not let them out. I hope you get it done before the snow flies!

Luckily we don't generally get much snow. And my dogs chase off most varmints during the day. Plus I am working in that area, so far they are doing ok being out. But I like when they have a safe area they can be out in whether I am home or not.

Morning chaos!

Delilah is beyond twitchy about the puppy. My son thinks it's funny that her tags are so tatering loud they wake the puppy.
Big dogs are fed, puppy is fed, chickens are fed.
Jack is a clumsy oaf and in his "mom MIGHT have a treat" stomp fest managed to step on puppy's ear. No idea why she was under him in the first place.

She is fine but made a heck of a noise.

I think these big dogs need a few hours OUTSIDE!

My son actually put his butt of a dog back downstairs before he left for work. She is sitting down there howling.
Sunday she gorged then had major stomach issues. My son stayed home yesterday so yeah....freaking chaos all day long.

Now that hubs has headed off to work MAYBE the day can chill the tater out.



Oh and I need to go buy chicken food. I may take River with me and make people help me for a change.

I always get lifting help at the store when I buy feed.They put it on the cart, and then load it in my truck. Lifting it out of the truck, into the Mule, and into the barrels is enough exercise for me.

I finally got to clean the big coop.
Big dogs are outside. Tiny dog napped and I cleaned.

I took out the extra nest boxes and roosts that were put in when I had new birds and broody butts.

It feels much more roomy in there.

Next puppy nap is the smaller coops turn.

I feel MUCH better about my birds living conditions now.

Don't remind me, I have loads of cleaning to do. I am starting a new garden area, so the poo can go there. Maybe I can do one area a day. Today I am bringing all of my paint into the crawl space so it won't freeze. I buy a lot of mistint paint for my cages and coops. $9.00 a gallon is much better than $30. or more.
