A day and a half after I let out 3 bantam cochin youngsters, I still hadn't sighted one. I figured she had been eaten and pretty much gave up looking for her. Tonight when I was closing up the Giant Cochin coop, there she was! The coop was open all day. Wonder if she was in there the whole time?!

That gnome is a sweetheart compared to the pants gnomes.
I hope they're at least warm, has to be a trade off for creepiness somewhere.
Definitely keep a close eye if jerks have poisioned things before.
I swear some people are just pure sh*t and nothing but.
I had a dog poisoned once, broke my heart. She already had points toward her championship, but wasn't old enough that I wanted to breed her. The vet treated her, but she couldn't survive without IV fluids. It was awful.

I guess she thinks she's a giant lol!
Glad she's ok.:)

I dont even like poisioning mice it bothers me.
A person has to have something very wrong with them to kill something in such an awful way for no reason.

THAT is a giant fear of mine. My back fence is against the alley. Access to all kinds of creeps.

The dog they poisoned was the friendliest girl, and I even had most of the dogs debarked so they wouldn't bother the neighbors. Someone fed her antifreeze.

Antifreeze is one of the worst!
It destroys the kidneys. :(

I am super sorry someone did that.

The poisoned dogs around here were fed rat poison in hamburger. Not in my exact hood but I still won't trust anyone.
I go out with the dogs in the wee early hours. I take the pooper scooper with me and do a sweep of their kennel. Mostly worried there may be dead mice in there but ready always for anything.

Thanks, she really was a special dog. Sheltie named Chrissy. I got the Canadian championship on her Dad.

Neighbors poisoned my dog when I was 12 but, luckily got him to the vet in time. He was NEVER out of our fenced yard, or barking all day. He was a house pet. They did not like having a "minority," in their neighborhood, did other foul things to us and our property as well.

Got out of there 50 years ago and very happy to have done so.

I will never understand why people have to be so ugly to each other. :hugs
