Henny, there is nothing small about Bob he's at least as big as two woods squirrels combined.
Its almost like somebody feeds him "a lot".

It is reasonably nice out.

Of course that means weirdos in the alley.

For real the alley is supposed to be for utility access only. The power poles are back there.

I went out to break up my girls freaking out at the fence. Weird lady says "there sure are a lot of dogs in this neighborhood."
I suggested she walk using the sidewalks OUT FRONT.

I would love that option myself!

If I was 12 years old i'd have to change pants by now, luckily iv'e learned to control my excitement craps "mostly" also a pair of gnome leggings

You find the best things.

A day and a half after I let out 3 bantam cochin youngsters, I still hadn't sighted one. I figured she had been eaten and pretty much gave up looking for her. Tonight when I was closing up the Giant Cochin coop, there she was! The coop was open all day. Wonder if she was in there the whole time?!

Glad she's ok. Maybe she's not ready to deal with the weather & wanted to stay inside where it's warm.

The dog they poisoned was the friendliest girl, and I even had most of the dogs debarked so they wouldn't bother the neighbors. Someone fed her antifreeze.

I had that happen w/ a kitten, but it wasn't intentional. He got into the garage & got into some antifreeze. It was horrible.

Neighbors poisoned my dog when I was 12 but, luckily got him to the vet in time. He was NEVER out of our fenced yard, or barking all day. He was a house pet. They did not like having a "minority," in their neighborhood, did other foul things to us and our property as well.

Got out of there 50 years ago and very happy to have done so.

People are trash. Glad your dog made it through & you found a better place to live. IDK how people justify doing stuff. We had a rash of dog assaults when i was a kid. The poisoned someone else's dog w/ rat poison & beat our dog w our own wooden baseball bat. I will never understand how people can be so horrible. I'd rather listen to a dog barking any day over someone's screaming brats.

Is it me or does your gnomes look a little sultry?

We skipped fall. I'm sorry, but that's just how it is. We got doused w/ snow last night and there were no salt trucks to be seen. Lots of car accidents. Not like they didn't have warning either.

I walk into so much unexplainable chicken drama, like I just arrive at pivotal moments in a derpy soap opera.
I went to feed everybody, always the oldies get first dibs and 99% of days everybody is in pig mode...not today.
Susan, Kiwi's mom and normally 99% pure balls and butthole is acting terrified, like terrified enough to run from dinner.
Her freak out run hit Prince's go button so now she's running from dinner and dessert.
This makes Negan run, he does not share lol! He intercepts stops the chase, no butt kicking just makes his point.
By this time the boys and Susan are where the trips are so I feed them. Negan just steps into the trips and starts eating while Prince hangs way back he stops eating side shuffles Susan back to the oldies.
Then both groups start eating together. So much drama, still wonder wtf started all that.

If my birds gave me this level of drama I have no idea what I'd do.

Spent all day working on bird related stuff, feed, water, and get ready for winter. Supposed to freeze again tonight. It was under 50° all day and windy. Had to come in several times for tea.
