Where is that emoji that just stares blankly and blinks slowing????

So y'all know I watch my sons Malamonster every day. Her tude means I have to do stuff away from home only after someone else gets home. My sons job sux. He should be able to be home at 3.....he is rarely earlier than 4.
Today he called in. He has a scratchy throat.
GOOD I can get my tire fixed and the grocery run done! :celebrate
Then while I am tending birds he turns miss tude loose in my dogs run......and asks if I will watch her so he can go back to bed. :hmm
Loose in my run with my dogs means I have to stop what I am doing because she has a tendency to attack River and Sable if I am not RIGHT THERE.

No one watches the dogs when I don't feel good so I can sleep.

No. I won't watch her. I have things I must get done.

Here's a pic I took about a week ago of the boys looking out the window at the snow together. They are getting too big!View attachment 2029416
I finally got my glasses pictures to upload. I actually got 4 pairs of glasses. One expensive pair from Walmart that cost $157 after insurance and 3 pairs from Goggles4u for $35.

I got 3 of this type. One for outside work, one for sticking in the glove box of my car (since I can't drive without corrective lenses), and a spare. I prefer rimless but the price couldn't be beat.

This was my expensive pair. I like the way they look. They are maroon and go well with my red hair.

Can you tell which day was harder? LOL

@Kiki
Your glasses look really nice! Good idea to get the spares so your good ones don't get scratched up doing outside stuff.

Look what I set on Saturday!

We have chicks coming from a hatchery the first week of March so these will hatch within a week of those. They will be New Hampshire and NH/(Cochin/Dominique) crosses. I ordered white, olive and blue egg layers so I wanted to hatch some brown egg layers.
YAYYY for chicks! I hope you get a bunch.

Someone needs to learn that when you take on the responsibility to have children you don't get to pawn them off on others, even if you don't feel well.

You might keep this in mind when he tells you he's going to be a father.. He'll show up w/ the kid at random times and expect you'll watch it.

Uh Henny, productive "ish" is not made for AM hours.
What I was doing proves it so well it isn't even funny.
Hubs got me a bunch of Willy Wonka candy nerds, runts stuff like that and that horn headband for V'day.
Very sweet, got a bonus by stuttin through Publix in it so he knew I loved it.
Anyway, that is too much candy, just way, waaay too much candy for me.
This crap happens enough that I have a plan....a semi evil plan
I buy some fun to talk to, crazy good child labor with a big ole candy bag.
Sounds bad, kind of is but mostly not
Grandparents think candy hypers my help up so they "punish" me by him unhypering in my yard...pffft.
Best help iv'e ever had, and so happy to be doing stuff.
That boy moves buckets of straw poop faster than me. he does stop to show his muscles a couple times.
Hes nearly 7, flexes are fine lol!
So, that is what I did with that "me " time.
A kid gets candy, excercise, has fun.
Grans get a nap, maybe get weird, eat a sandwich just whatever.
And my coop poop gets gone in half the time.

And luckily no piddle toes, but completely clear kitty chuck spread out in somewhere secret is here to fill in.
I made a grid, stuck with it too lol+

I was up at 4:20 Colorado time. That was time 3 going vertical. :hmm
I am not being productive at all.
I am not 100% sure which puppy is having middle of the night piddles in the kitchen but that is getting old.
Water is going to be picked up at 7 to see if that fixes that.
Nothing like a 2 am stagger to the back door to let a dog out and get piddle toes. :sick

We got more sn*w. Oh goodie.
I need to get a tire fixed on the car and run a few other errands.

She needs to be crate trained!

OH HELLZ TO THE NO! No grandkids! NOPE nope nopity NOPE NOPE!

She needs to be crate trained!

He has options. There is a gigantic crate in the basement, her outdoor kennel/run, or just let her be loose in the basement. She doesn't tear stuff up. If she is annoying put her outside or lock her up. No need to wreck my day watching her.

I got my tire fixed, had lunch with hubs, hit 2 grocery stores, found out Family Dollar is closed and am finally home.
My dogs hung out loose upstairs while I was gone. No one destroyed anything or made a lake. All is well.

Morning y'all. :frow

Good morning! Kind of crappy but crappy morning sounds funky.
One of the bonuses sleeping hid away should be I can pick whatever weird position and be left peacefully...
Nope not included.:(

Well dang. No peaceful funky sleeping. :(

Hubs was out twice to tow DUI impounded cars. For real on a Tuesday.....:hmm
