Good morning. Great news, my missing frizzle rooster is alive! Why he was on the neighbor's property on the far side of the fence, idk.

That is awesome!!
I assume he is home now.

I got bell peppers, jalapeno, pablano, tomatoes, and onions all planted and under the lights. Now to see if I have room for flowers.....

I am starting pepper seeds today among others.
I have super tiny sprouts on my penstemon and bee balm I set around a week ago! :wee

Chicky....what plants did you order?

I had to C&P because I forgot what I bought lol.
Love plants I can't kill, but you see iv'e got to wait until summer for some stuff .:)

Nice! Those should all be colorful.

I am trying to do flowers from seed instead of the plants this year. Simple stuff like cosmos, poppy, pansy and petunias. No idea if it will be worth the effort but it keeps me busy.

It is getting warm enough in the greenhouse I will be toting things back and forth. :gig

I do lantanas every year, they just do great but just for a season.
Iv'e grown a whopping 2 from seeds, 1 rooted from a cutting and 1 came back naturally for an encore season.
If I could make any of the ways consistent i'd be thrilled.
Yarrow has come back for 3 years so I think it is safe to add a new color lol.
2 rose mallows here already, they've been popping out for almost 40 years so feeling confident for the wine one.
That Lophospermum vine is a new thing and I haven't had Celosias of any kind since I was a kid.
I'll gladly do seeds if I can eat it, flowers though I get lazy.
Going to be some happy bugs and hummers this year for sure.:)

Hummers?!? If you get any pics PLEASE post them!
We only get a few passing through on migration.

I thought I would give it a try from seed since I can relocate things to the greenhouse now. Gonna be a lot of trips taking things out there and bringing them back until our weather is more stable.
I feel like just having lights for 2 seed starting shelves is limiting. If I can start flowers by hauling them out there in the mornings and back in in the evening it lets me use that beautiful sunshine.

Yeah, the ruby throated hummers hit here late March or early April they're my gauge on if the cold is gone permanently.
They leave late September early October so iv'e got them a pretty long time and they land and guard the lantanas and feeders so pics should be easy to get "of the boys anyway lol".
I get those little hummingbird moths too.
That is another draw of tons of lantanas, everything loves them all the pollinators and some birds eat the berries.
Derps don't but larks and thrushes do.
