Good afternoon! It has been a lazy one, paid the bills because pandemic or not they'll want their money.
Had to intro a new nest since "chicken surprise" will use our carrier/nest as a taxi so big fun there.
Plants come tomorrow so yay "maybe" if the frosts are over.
About to go dinner the derps, they should have food coming Friday which is great we are running loooow.
Im just glad the grass is sprouting back up to help fill those bellies.

Thanks, today I finished the roof. The little lavender D'uccle is very depressed that she's gone. He keeps going over by the spot where the hawk hit her. He just sits there with his shoulders hunched up. Pitiful.
In good news, I have two chicks hatched and hopefully more to come.

That poor little guy, I hate when the others are sad and missing their companion. It makes the initial loss worse for me. Give him extra loves.

Sooooooo apparently that is not the WHO approved recipe for sanitizer.

I was corrected in another thread that the starting alcohol needs to be 91% or higher.

Found this....it matches up with the PDF from the WHO.

Thanks. I was looking for alcohol for thermometer cleaning, 3 stores & nothing. I did find alcohol wipes though. I've got a little sanitizer so I'll be fine. We don't go out much beyond chicken stuff.

Hawk killed her today.

Today I had a Dr. visit on the phone. Had to get up early, 8:30 because my visit was to take place between 9 and 11. At least I got my medication dose increased like I wanted to.

My daughter has a video conference Dr appt next week. So cool they can do it that way.

Morning everyone.

Waving hi from our now "stay at home" status. I never really went anywhere anyway.

I got my drawings and cut diagram finished for the duck house. Maybe I will be able to have it all built before they are ready for outside.
