Yup. Skinny, isn't much bigger than the day it hatched.

I think it was my incubator I started most of one group of my eggs in my less reliable incubator (same as my guineas) since I didn't have room in my Brinsea. I'm REALLY considering buying a 56 egg brinsea so I can count on it.

I would be ordering that better bater. You do enough hatching to justify it.

Already ordered it. Talked to DH and he was fine with it. If I get my hatching out of the way and get more aggressive with selling my eggs/chicks/keets I should be able to pay myself back for it.

It is both,no idea what exactly went on there lol.

It definitely made me happy that she recovered and then a bit from the nightmare.

That is an "interesting" egg.... Is it ridged or just 2 colors....my old eyes cannot tell for sure.
I get a couple weird eggs.....one blue layer is adding calcium to the small end of the eggs....every egg. I think it is my elderly Brahma giving me an odd wrinkled egg every now and then. Then there are body checked eggs after the hawk hangs out.

My chickies are 5 weeks old! They may or may not have been given their first treats in honor of the occasion.

None at the moment I really need to get some more pics soon. If I can get close enough. Now that they have run access as well as the coop, they are very good at staying as far away from me as possible. All the more reason for me to start handing out bribes. Honestly though, I can’t believe how little they still are. Bantams are so fun!
