Official Squatch Watchers

I am up. I am not wanting to even look at my garden today. 😢

We had heavy rain, hail, more rain, more hail on and on all night.
I fear all the work of growing my seedlings, prepping my garden and planting it up has been destroyed.

This weekend the roof is going on the chicken run. I will look to that and get my duck house graphed out on paper.

So very sad for my hot peppers, bell peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots in pots, onions, squash and seeds that are likely washed away.

Good morning folks :frow

I'm still laughing what a good find... :gig
I've got 3 keets that didn't require a lick of help! I decided this time I wasn't going to help unless they zipped and got stuck. now I have 3 healthy looking keets that required 0 help! one more egg is pipped. Chicks are starting to pip now.
Awesome news, go chickies... :jumpy:jumpy

:frow Good morning Henny, I'm hoping it's not as bad as you imagine. Later today we need to go retrieve all the stuff that blew away last night. Major storms rolled through here last night too.

Good morning Bob. :frow

I hope nothing traveled to far. Nothing quite as fun as looking for your stuff hoping it didn't nail someones car or windows.

I am hoping the wind we had was from the north or west as that would have slowed the hail impacts some saving at least part of the garden.

Good morning! Im running a little late not too bad though yesterday was MUCH worse lol!
Yesterday I didn't release the derps until nearly 9 and nobody died.
I did find out the coop stays incredibly cool so that was nice to know.
Henny I was holding out hope for your seedlings yay! :)

Good morning folks!

I now have 4 keets (the last one started to zip and got glued to the shell so it required help) and 8 chicks, only one needed help. Not a SINGLE egg from group 2 has pipped yet. Those eggs were started in the bad incubator. So I'm glad I ordered a better incubator. My frankenbators will be relegated to being hatching bators (which they do an excellent job of). I'll candle the eggs tonight to see if there are any signs of life.

I just had to move my lock down incubator from the spare room to the top of the dryer. We relegated the lock down incubator to the spare bedroom because they STINK. But my SIL is getting her wisdom teeth out tomorrow and she will be staying with us tonight and for a day or two while she recovers. Now our main enteryway through the laundry room stinks. Oh well, better than my bedroom or office stinking like freshly hatched chicks.
