I got caught up!!

Good job getting 12 through the process Rae.

We got back with that new puppy about an hour ago. It is a long drive down there but beautiful scenery. They moved to a new property. There were humming birds galore flitting about like little sparkling jewels flying by.

Puppy...Aluah, she is overwhelmed and now sleeping. Pics at a future time.

Hubs said he would lend a hand standing the walls on the duck house since I threw my back out on Friday and can still barely move.
We will be shooting into the upper 80's to low 90's in just a couple days. I am not a big fan of hot.

I DID get a mistint gallon of paint the other day when I was in for hardware. It is a sand color kinda. I much prefer paying $9 to $36.

Yep, I like to stock up when I see suitable colors. I would like to repaint some of the enclosures here.
 
I have another ICU case. This time a fizzle silkie rooster. He had been standing funny. Very tall with his chest out, like an OEGB. He suddenly was holding his head back star gazing.
So to the ICU he came. He seems much calmer and relaxed sitting with me. So today he got a spa treatment.

Washed and dried he was then wrapped in a towel in the kitchen while I made breakfast.

The weight from the towel kept him laying down and he started eating.

With eggs cooked we moved to the couch and he ate himself into a food coma!

He is much more relaxed now so I'm hoping he stays that way. I'll make sure he gets poultry cell water and check feed with boss. Just a day of that and he seems on the upswing.

I would suggest a multivitamin for the stargazing. Polyvisol without iron. Glad he is doing better.
