Not only is the glass disgusting from shavings being pushed against it but they fall between that edge and the frame. So when I open it shavings fall out.

Everything associated with chickens becomes disgusting over time.

Added slats to the ramp! Just screens to go.

Small coop. Raised on blocks so its easier for me to walk in and so the wood doesn't rot.

The (not so) littles enjoying grass and sunshine.

The others terrified of this big new world.

Medium coop with separate run. That whole end to the right opens so I can go in there.

(Double lens shot) Momma pen! The top is hinged so I can lift it to feed and water easier. Then the front is separate and not attached. I can lift the top and pull the whole front panel out if I don't need to use it. It slides into tracks like a pop door. And there are stops for the top to rest on if the front isn't in there.

I can't even row out to do a flippin thing on my little turd coop.
Turd coop sounds bad I know, every morning it has mystery turds in it though.

Nothing like having the paint you need!

I dug deeper into the paint stash and found 1/2 can of trim paint too. Just enough to make me think I have enough.....for it to be a pint shy.
There is a lot of trim. No primer though.

My east side is a jigsaw puzzle of off cuts of siding. One piece.....the last piece....well it ain't fittin right. I gave up and attached it anyway. It will be fine. I can run a 1x3 there to cover the tiny gap.

@FlyingNunFarm your coops have come a long way and are looking great!!
Those chooks have grown so much and look really good too!

Sad update, the pair flew off at dusk last night and my dad and brother couldn't catch the baby again. No sign of it this morning.

They (my brother and parents) tried.
