🤫 The tiny toothy terror is asleep....FINALLY.

Hubs is bringing me my favorite hot wings and fries for lunch! :wee

I am beat after battling my mower. It must be the year for the no start on the mowers. Mine is like 17 years old so yeah time has run its course on that one. The cable is seized up.....but it goes deeper into the engine where stuff just ain't right.
Imma go get a new one this evening. At least the small push mowers aren't a gazillion dollars.

Someone I know has a battery push mower and they love it. Said its super light weight and really quiet.

I finally gave in and replaced the battery in mine. After a short charge it started right up. Had to twice mow the lawn. You know, run over the clippings for a second time to cut them up smaller. 🤦🏻‍♀️ There are a few sections I couldn't mow. Of course where all the trees are still down out front. Then there is a rutted section that my butt bounced out of the seat so bad the blades turned off. So I gave up on it. Another section is now what I call the bee meadow. Really big, deep ruts that I couldn't even get the mower over. But its full of buttercups so I don't mind. I never thought the few years of horse back riding would come in handy.

Gave 2 started eggs to each of the broody girls. Lila has decided to wait until later to brood I guess. Added another nest box so hopefully the other girls behave and use those. Then filled the incubator with 63 silkie eggs. It would only hold 1 more and I oddly didn't have one. LOL

Also moved 3 more teenagers outside with the others. Pinky is a master scratcher of wood chips. Makes very nice dirt bath holes for the younger birds. He is too funny. I almost can't wait till he crows. I have a feeling its going to be special.

We got a battery powered push mower, I like it. Light, and don't have to go get gas.

I am glad you were able to fix yours.
My mower purchase was a disaster. Bought a Toro. It started on the second pull after assembly, oil and gas. I cut up the box and stuck it in recycling, pulled some weeds, and decided to put the mower away. Because I am old and tired and had other stuff I needed to get back there I decided to start it and use its powered drive thingy......it wouldn't start. After 20 minutes and a LOT of cussing hubs got home. He tried for a few minutes and said "take it back". Ok so off we go. Stand in line in 90° heat wearing masks while already overheated just to get told it has to go to rentals to have the gas removed. Well son of a gun that is clear across the store. Ok do that then back in line. Grump level rising. I paid with a card....that means 3-5 days for it to be credited back or get a Home depot card thingy. Ok card thingy it is. Chose a different mower. Then the tatering card won't work!
Get home @ 7. Start putting new new mower together....part is missing. :barnie
Old mower did not have that set up so no scavenging.
No one had eaten yet.....being on diabetes meds means we are both crashing and very short tempered by now. We ate a sandwich.
I went and put the rest of it together, started on first pull, mowed the side yard and put it away.
THEN we pulled the range out to load for disposal. :fl that the new range comes in tomorrow and freaking works.

Whooo fries!!! 🍟:drool

Yup! I am a fry junkie. :drool 🍟🍟🍟
