Someone I know has a battery push mower and they love it. Said its super light weight and really quiet.
I finally gave in and replaced the battery in mine. After a short charge it started right up. Had to twice mow the lawn. You know, run over the clippings for a second time to cut them up smaller.

There are a few sections I couldn't mow. Of course where all the trees are still down out front. Then there is a rutted section that my butt bounced out of the seat so bad the blades turned off. So I gave up on it. Another section is now what I call the bee meadow. Really big, deep ruts that I couldn't even get the mower over. But its full of buttercups so I don't mind. I never thought the few years of horse back riding would come in handy.
Gave 2 started eggs to each of the broody girls. Lila has decided to wait until later to brood I guess. Added another nest box so hopefully the other girls behave and use those. Then filled the incubator with 63 silkie eggs. It would only hold 1 more and I oddly didn't have one. LOL
Also moved 3 more teenagers outside with the others. Pinky is a master scratcher of wood chips. Makes very nice dirt bath holes for the younger birds. He is too funny. I almost can't wait till he crows. I have a feeling its going to be special.
